Klitschko head butting Fury

Post by HellraiserBoxing »

Came across this while on my travels this week. Can't help thinking Fury gets tarred as the bad guy too easily due to his extroverted & sometimes slightly mental approach. http://youtu.be/-Q8EhZjxo8Y

Remember this at the time and I was raging! If the shoe was on the other foot folk would've went crazy!

Wladimir landed almost as many headbutts as he landed punches! :TU:

If Fury had been the one doing the nutting, he'd have had a point off straight away.

Yep!

Although I don't see a problem, a little bit of head usage in a Fight.

But there's smart ways to use the head, what Wlad did was petulant and reminiscent of what Ortiz did to Floyd. Pity Fury didn't lay him him out in similar fashion.

I think Martin was being a little sarcastic. He stuck the crust in once himself, worse than Ortiz.

Credit to Fury for just getting on with it. If it was an American fighter he'd have been rolling around like he got shot.

C'mon chaps - you can't expect the ref to hold the promoter who's paying for his nice hotel room to the same standards as any other fighter...

Should be called Tony Weak.

That's a DQ loss right there but not even a telling off.

I remember vividly the headbutts Ward dropped onto Kessler, even showtime said he was like a "billy goat" and nothing happened.

Graham Lister wrote:Fury was holding the back of his neck, nutting him seems a reasonable response

Wlad is constantly criticised for being negative, mechanical, boring etc, he shows a bit of fire he's STILL criticised.

Notice that the so called 'fytin mann' doesn't respond and turns to ref immediately, a true 'fytin mann' would have nutted him back or hit him in the plums.
You my friend is what I call a complete eget.

Lister compliments John Fury constantly, and keeps saying sorry over nothing, Big John gets mildly irritated, for which Lister apologises some more.

It is a bit ridiculous. 80% of his posts are fury based.
