Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
I know you have to take what he says with a pinch of salt sometimes but this wouldn't surprise me. He has always said nothing will come close to winning the belts and he has never struck me as wanting to be in the game for long. He's a multi-millionaire and sometimes that can make all the difference. What do you reckon?

‘I’ve got two and a half stone to get off and I want to get on it,’ said the WBA, WBO, IBO, and Ring Magazine heavyweight world champion.
‘It’s going to be my my last fight. I think. S*** or bust. All or nothing. It’s going to be my last fight win, lose, or draw.
‘I just can’t be f***** with it. I’m so sick of it. I’ve got no motivation to carry it on.’
On Sunday, Fury reaffirmed his decision on Twitter, claiming that he wants to see more of his family after facing Klitschko.
I setoff today for what promises to be a very hard 8 weeks training camp, this will be my best fight, then I'll retire 100%

We will see, once he gets offered £30m for Joshua that might change.

Not a chance. He's a bullshit artist / wind-up merchant.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if he did. Nor if he then came out again.

If fury gets beat its his last fight. I think he might retire if he wins, im not sure if Fury really enjoys the game. Its hard to tell with him.
Re: Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
If Fury loses and I don't think he will this time, he'll keep fighting, there's too much easy money to be made and despite what he says sometimes, he likes boxing.
Re: Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
He's trying to pull a Mayweather, only difference is he's not 49 & 0 and he did not pre-plan this stunt, most likely he blurted out the word 'retirement' during some random interview, it got a bit if attention and he now thinks he's onto a genius idea straight out of Floyds book.
He will probably stick with this position now

I'd crack up if he retired and sailed off into the sunset happy as Larry. It would be a great two fingers up to the people that call him thick.

Does he like Texas?
Re: Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
He's big, brash and warm-hearted, so I think he'd fit right in, but you'd have to ask him.Tomasino wrote:Sklar wrote:If Fury loses and I don't think he will this time, he'll keep fighting, there's too much easy money to be made and despite what he says sometimes, he likes boxing.

Re: Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
Him retiring after the Klitschko rematch is as likely as a Woman becoming the ruler of a Muslim country. He'll be back several times after the Wlad rematch. Win or lose.

How would it be?Stevieb8006 wrote:I'd crack up if he retired and sailed off into the sunset happy as Larry. It would be a great two fingers up to the people that call him thick.
He'd lose out on millions.
If anything it would be confirming the opinions of those who call him thick.

Re: Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
People who believe that are as gullible as those who believe Mayweather each time he has 'retired'.

There is always one smart bollocks with access to google.
Re: Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
Access to Google for that one? The video of her assassination was beamed sround the world, if you need Google for that you need it to get your Alzheimers diagnosed too.
Re: Tyson Fury to retire after Klitschko rematch
Well that kinda proves my point then. She was a Woman leader in a Muslim country and she was killed. So there ya go.Sklar wrote:Access to Google for that one? The video of her assassination was beamed sround the world, if you need Google for that you need it to get your Alzheimers diagnosed too.

This is why forums can be great. You start talking about a heavyweight champ retiring but get onto female leaders of middle eastern countries
