I'd say he has better all around skills, but Joshua certainly has better punch technique.Oiky wrote:hughie is fundamentally a far better boxer than AJ![]()
people giving hughie to much stick over an off-night vs kassi.
plus hughie has time enough to develop![]()
plenty of time to grow into his power and i believe he has enough tools to beat AJ in due time

Re: Hughie Fury vs. Anthony Joshua
He has really really severe food allergys.jamesmcdonnell wrote:What is his medical condition?PredatorHayds wrote:Hughie doesn't seem to be improving as quickly as I'd hoped.
I think his medical condition seems to be effecting his muscle growth.
Hopefully he will slowly develop his man strength as he will need more pop in his punches when he gets into top 20 territory.
He uses his height and reach very well which will make him hard to beat up to a certain level.
There's more food he can't have than he can hence the skin condition.
Saw at his worst after a bad reaction he can't lift 10kg weights.
He nearly quit the sport because of it not long ago.
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Anthony Joshua
I think he has some sort of gluten intolerance. Which means he cant eat wheat based food. You would expect him to switch to gluten free diet, which is what Peter was saying while ago. But by looking at his persisting skin rush and luck of muscle growth it doesnt seem to be working. What is his medical condition?
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Anthony Joshua
Joshua vs Hughie Fury is a huge mismatch. Joshua by early to mid round KO.
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Anthony Joshua
There you go, Hughie is taking a break from boxing to medicate his condition: http://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12 ... peter-fury
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Anthony Joshua
Wouldn't work. Hughie has no jab. The only real weapon HF has is a short right that he's always looking for. Hughie is better than Gary Cornish but Cornish had the fantasy he could jab Joshua. He said "I've got a really good jab. He shouldn't underestimate me." Joshua just smiled broadly when he heard that and said "good luck with that" because obviously he knew Cornish had zero weapons and was as skilled as Chuck Wepner. Cornish is 6'7" X 255 and was 21-0 for Joshua. He was a little naïve about what he accomplished as a professional Heavyweight boxer. Hughie is 20-0 and more grounded. Hughie has a much better idea where he's at than Cornish had. He knows he's got 10,000,000 miles to go and several more years of development if he doesn't want to be the next Gary Cornish.BitPlayer wrote:Unlikely, but I think there is hope for Hughie to keep him at bay jab, jab, jabbing, and tying him up untill Joshua gasses, at which point easy decision. Would have to be on his A game from start to finish though.

Joshua was 19 when he entered the boxing gym for the first time in his life, Hughie started to box since he was a little kid. LiterallyEscorpioza wrote:give the kid a break .. he's only 21 .. when Joshua was 21 he was fighting nobodies and lost to Whyte, Nistor and Medzhidov
