I'll name 4 Welterweights who could beat the trash out of Floyd: Kell Brook.. Keith Thurman.. Errol Spence.. and Shawn Porter.. It's GUARANTEED Floyd wouldn't fight those guys in a million years. I think he would fight Danny Garcia, because he can't box well.
And those tough Welterweights are what the Andre Berto fight was all about. Berto had lost 3 of his previous 6 fights. You just saw Berto land 17% of his punches versus super hittable and chinny Victor Ortiz. When asked why he was fighting Berto Floyd said, "Because that's who we selected."
Good point.

Spence and porter have yet to beat a highly skilled cerebral boxer like floyd. Porter was dropped by bronera Floyd wannabe, and forced to go the distance. Spence had frightening skill, timing, and power but hasn't beaten any technical fighting genius that gives any indication he could beat yet.Kalan wrote:I'll name 4 Welterweights who could beat the trash out of Floyd: Kell Brook.. Brook is huge and could easily fight at middleweight. He has a great jab, footwork, and a great cross that could be the equalizer against floyd. Same with thurman, he hits like a truck, can switch to southpaw and has good boxer puncher ability and skill.
Danny Garcia is an obvious, boring, one sided unanimous decision I wouldn't even watch it for free, I'd just look at the highlights for the obvious outcome. The only way a Garcia fight would mean anything is if Garcia beats one or more of the above mentitled fighters. So far Garcia has beaten up tomato cans , washed up fighters, and carefully selected guys who were already beaten a couple times.

My favorite card ever was the one when Edwards knocked out Jack because almost every one of this fighters lost that night except for Love. they kept showing Floyd making faces like he hated these boxers for making him look so awful. His company is going nowhere.PsychoGamerTwo wrote:I hate Floyd, i'd love to knock him out, but...caldo2025 wrote:I love how Floyd shows up to "show his support for Badou Jack" this weekend. How does Floyd show him support? By trying to steal the show away from him with his pathetic planned announcement prior to his fight. The following days, you couldn't find an update on the fight but Floyd coming out of retirement was everywhere you looked.
Floyd showing his lack of class once again.
...he always shows support to his fighters, been at Love fights aswell, or when Jack been knocked out by Edwards.

Looks like it's from his official account.
OF the following options for Floyd's 50th bout;
Canelo
Connor McGregor
Golovkin
i'd say Golovkin is the least likely by a mile. Golovkin would smash Mayweather to bits.

There are also Garcia and Broner who are ahead of those three.Ricky_ wrote:ikorolev wrote:Is this a real K9 account or some schmuck joking ?
