I think the Canelo/Cotto snoozer makes it hard for me to pay for much more Boxing on PPV. I'm deciding between this and UFC next week.
I'm surprised you think this will be competitive. Algieri was walking Khan down. What's Canelo gonna do? For every 2 times Khan hits Canelo, Canelo will hit him once - very very hard. The eye catching shots. Not the arm combos Khan will throw while he's back pedaling. Khan has no path to victory. He surely isn't knocking Canelo out. And his chance of actually getting a decision are basically zero. He's there to get paid.

I am worried Khan won't be able to move in and out of range with the additional weight he put on without getting caught at some point. Canelo was fast enough to counterpunch Lara who is very fast and mobile.

Canelo doesn't really walk people down. He thinks he's a master boxer for some reason, and makes a lot of fights harder than they need to be because of it.

I don't disagree with that. Canelo does make fights harder than they need to be. But it's harder to look good against slick guys like Lara who are bigger and slicker than Khan. Lara can also take a better punch from bigger men. Canelo is eventually going to hit Khan. And he's going to hurt him when he does. Khan isn't some master defensive wizard. And we know his chin stinks. I see Canelo hurting him to the body which will really slow him down. Khan has never been hit by somebody like Alvarez.

"I am not watching the fight, it's a total con, for part time boxing fans to get ripped off. It's a disgrace to boxing, what a joke, Canelo is ducking, Khan is just getting paid. You have to be a FOOL to watch this fight!"

Monday Morning...

Did you watch the fight?

"No way man, just heard the result.......

"Ok, Ok I witnessed the highlights, only like 2 minutes though man"

"Right fine, i watch the extended highlights the next morning!"

"fcuk sake, ok I lied, I stayed up and watched the full thing and i am currently giving my review on boxrec"

I seen. I seen. The word is saw. I saw. Let's keep the dialogue above a 4th grade level here.

It's a certain fix - Canelo gets a patsy - Con gets a payday for losing then he goes back down to 147 with an upgraded credibility because he went up to fight a mw - don't get fooled again - BOYCOTT this business arrangement "pardon fight" -

You expect the Queen's English around here?

Quite a few of the posters have about as good a command of English as Gigi Golovkin does.

No wonder so many here support him. They think of him as a kindred spirit.

That is just what I expected... Canelo strung the fight out for a few rounds by boxing and no attacking too hard... Then he hit Khan with a good shot and Khan dropped like he was SHOT!!!! ... What to do you EXPECT when a Light Heavyweight hits a Welterweight... The only reason Maidana DIDN'T knock Khan out is: He can't really throw that hard.. Marcos couldn't get Corley, Alexander, Kotelnik, or Floyd going either.
