I doubt it. Whyte is going to come in fat and out of shape. His chin has been badly cracked - struggling to breathe on the canvas after the AJ uppercut. He slow and has just had a big surgery in his shoulder, which may never be 100%. Its a who-catches-who-first type of fight and my money would be on Price

I was on the Price train,thought he had all the attributes to take over from Wladimir despite needing some polish and the doubts from his amateur days which people kept mentioning,still i thought with experience and maybe a change to a world class trainer he could go all the way

So its sad to see how he's fell from grace,been unlucky to be KO'd by a couple of cheats,had terrible stamina which hopefully could be over with,he done 10 rounds easy against Zavarotni albeit at a easy pace under next to no pressure so juries out there

The thing that frustrates me most about David,isnt his chin,or mental fragility,my biggest concern is simply his JAB,its quite feeble at times almost irrelelvant,as we all know everything comes off the jab,even more so when your as tall as Price and have the devastating right cross he has,yet he just paws with it and almost looks scared to throw it with any real purpose,it frustrates the hell out of me because i know he has a great jab in him,it just needs to be coaxed out of him,hopefully Caldwell focuses on that because without it,he's going nowhere,he's not holding Joshua or Wilder off with his paw,if he put purpose on the jab against Teper then maybe Erkan wouldve thought twice before steaming in??

With it(a good solid jab),who knows where can go,of course the stamina and mental issues will need adressed too,my confidence in him is obviously waning but you never know,hopefully he can do a Wlad and rebuild

It's true, if he wasn't so tentative with the jab, he'd be far less liklely to be getting chinned.

However, he is what he is. He lacks the confidence to throw the jab with authority, and I doubt that will change.

He's a busted flush. He's Audley mark 2, in fact, not as good as Audley to be fair to our Aud.

If Dimitrenko is really not gonna fight Briggs. I'd like to see Price vs Briggs myself. I know it's a big risk for Price with his chin, but it'd also be a chance for him to get a bit of his limelight back, and I mean...at least with Briggs he's dealing with a shot puncher who would only actually be dangerous for about 5 minutes.

Haha, he may wish, no he's just the first guy who spend some of his years in my neighbourhood that tries to box. There are many good boxers around me, but none of them actually tried to became pro. Now I'd like to see how far he can get, but most of the boxers seem to avoid him...

Cornish is still doing what he's always done, boxing isn't even his only job. Whyte pretty much got a name for himself from that fight, and has only been out to get his shoulder sorted, and the other guy is someone who I can't find anything about and beat a bunch of guys with losing records, other than one tha was 3-0 and one that was 3-3-1, and almost certainly had another job.

I liked the point he made about Dave Allen, who the hell does he think he is calling out Price, what would Price gain from beating him (which I think he'd do with some ease) ?

He'd get a win over a fighter who isn't a journeyman. That's far from a guaranteed result for a Price fight, I don't think he can afford to turn his nose up at a realistic chance of that.

I'm not saying Allen would stand a chance rather he would have ambition and wouldn't be coming to lose. It's Pricey's temperament that needs rehabilitating, this would help.

Cornish would be just a good for the same reason. Poor fighter but he came to win against Joshua and didn't look intimidated when it was clear to EVERYBODY that he should have been terrified of the frightening beating he had coming.
