I suppose if you count the body punches Del Boy was throwing in the clinches it might make some sense?
Nah - That's still a rubbish call...

I had it 11-1.

Swiss judge 7-5 to del boy? Perhaps the worst i've ever seen.

Man I couldn't be arsed watching the fight in the pub as I didn't expect Chisora to have a chance and didn't expect a knockout from either and I was right about that.
Still, hearing that there was one obscenely scorecard makes me want to watch it just to see how far off that judges call was. :maybe:

That is a shocking scorecard from the Swiss judge. :o
How the hell can this sport of ours throw up such glaring anomalies? I get it that people sometimes see different things, but that is absolutely ludicrous.
Surely there should be a process where he has to explain exactly what it is he was doing, and how he got things so wrong?

I think at most a couple rounds to Chisora. Hey the right man won that's all that matters. I think Chisora can bounce back from this as well, not where near as bad as the shut out he had against Fury.

Hughie Fury, David Price and Dillian Whyte should be looking at Chisora...

Convincing win for Pulev but fair play to Chisora. He tried but just wasn't good enough. I gave him 3 rounds and one round a draw.

that Swiss judge wants sacking on the spot.
Can't see Pulev being allowed near Joshua anytime soon...

I don't think Chisora will drop to British level, he'll hopefully pack it in now.

Despite only having 31 fights Chisora has a LOT of miles on the clock; 22 rounds with Fury, 12 with Helenius, 12 with Vitali, now this with Pulev.

The second Fury fight and tonight's loss were long draining beatings, they leave a mark far more than a quick KO loss.

I think Chisora would beat any of them. Price doesn't jab and defend well enough, and couldn't take the shots Pulev did. I don't think Hughie has enough strength yet, and Whyte needs to learn against some better fighters before facing someone like Chisora, and get his fitness higher.

I have to agree with the poor man's Wlad comment. I saw nothing in that fight that makes me think he could live with Fury or Wlad (unless e really declines). They fight in a similar way and do it better.

AJ should fight Pulev next. It would be a credible, consensus top ten opponent and I think he would knock him out Wlad-style.

Unless Dereck Chisora plans on treading water & just being a gatekeeper, I don't see the point in him carrying on.

He's clearly not a world class HW, as he loses every time he steps up in class, so if he can't compete with the better class heavies, he's just going to end up as a yardstick for up & coming HWs & I'm sure he didn't plan that for himself.

good assessment . He has probably made himself a fair few quid along the way ,but his level is apparent .

I feel the same, he's gotten as far as he's ever going to get, he just isn't that good. Unless he needs or wants the money from he might as well quit. If he is financially well off, it would be silly for him to bother.

I had to say, I thought Chisora didn't box badly, especially the early to mid rounds. He was moving well at the waist, kind of in a Joe Frazier type approach (obviously I'm not comparing Dereck to Joe in effectiveness)

Pulev though just looked very good and boxed very cleverly. I would suggest he's learnt a lot from being a bit reckless against Klit and would be a very good opponent for Joshua.

Whilst that's generally true, I've always felt the ko loss to Haye did the most damage to Chisora; he's not looked anywhere near the same since that fight.

Pulev seems to have kept himself nicely in the mix without really setting the world on fire...and I too would like to see him matched with AJ.
There's a good jab to be beaten there and I reckon Pulev is a bit more savvy than either Martin or the upcoming Breazeale.

Winnable fight for AJ without a doubt but going a few rounds and perhaps needing to be patient as he unpicks Pulev would be really worthwhile.
