Oscar De La Hoya at Canelo fight

Post by reggaereggae »

Does anyone else think he looked ridiculously high last night! Before, in between and grinning idiotically at the end of the fight, eyes bulging out of his skull.....

If so, I'm not sure how he gets to top up if it's Charlie... Maybe it E or MDMA. Either way I bet some hookers were called into Oscar's suite later...

I've been trying to get photos but can't find any... Has anyone got any they can paste in?

He looked like Pete Doherty on New Year's Eve man! High as a fuckin kite! Looked as if he didn't know if he needed a jobby or a haircut! I saw an interview last week and he was exactly the same. Moist nostrils! The Colombian cold is a right pudendum!

I bet the jammy fecker had a threes up with the Tecate girls :TU:

   I think there are two possible outcomes in the near future -

1. Yet another trip to rehab. Followed by a massive relapse 6 months later. Another trip to rehab ad infinitum

2. Oscar is found dead in a hotel room, dressed in Victoria's Secret underwear, surrounded by a dozen bottles o Crystal, a salad bowl full of high grade yeyo, his face covered Tony Montana style in Colombian talcum powder.... A trombone in his anus.... With a naked, mute, dwarf in the shower trying to wash off the Skippy peanut butter (crunchy) off her body, and the music system on repeat, playing 'Macarena' over and over again....

I can't find any photos on the night, just these from the press conferences and even in those he looks like he is living lifer in a higher place than a Tibetan Hermit... The last one is the my favourite and features Oscar looking like the Joker...

I remember feeling physically and emotionally violated the day I saw the picture of him in the skimpy underwear! He was something of an idol to me growing up watching boxing. It was like walking in on your dad being spit roasted by the chuckle brothers :maybe:

Nothing in any of those photos suggests he's high, why post them?

And who cares? I'm more surprised when people in his position aren't doing coke these days.

If you don't care, well then you should not even bother opening the thread, let alone post on it. Regardless, if you watched the fight and didn't think Oscar was high, you obviously have never done drugs or been around them.

I didn't see the fight, I quite clearly commented on the photos you posted that in no way suggest he's high. But again, I'm asking why do you care? What difference does it make if Oscar De La Hoya does coke? I did coke last night myself, had a cracking evening out too. :TU:

In glad you enjoyed yourself. And no, it's not of major importance on the scheme of things, but we all enjoy a certain drama and voyeurism. And there is a bit of importance, in that if one of the major players (CEO?) of a promotional company is a rabid cokehead.... There are many implications. There are many many case studies where companies become unstable because of a top player having a major coke problem.

Ps also, you shouldn't be doing coke, you are effectively providing money for an unregulated industry that has been destroying Mexican and South American countries with gangsterism, murder, violence as well as destroying parts of the Amazonian jungle, enslaving farmers who are forced to grow cocaine rather than other crops. Not to mention that the biggest victims in the drug game are poor, working class, underprivileged people, the top bods generally live the life of riley. So get off your high horse (pun intended :-P ) and think about the repercussions off your actions in the bigger scheme of things.......

Now I would be grateful if we can return to the actual thread and talk about Oscar's coke habit and his penchant for ladies' underwear

I wonder what Hopkins makes of DLH - I'm pretty sure he isn't into it himself being a top level boxer at 50, and I'm sure he isn't naive coming from the streets

The reasons are expressed in my previous posters, including reliability and negative repercussions. But forgetting that, if it's such a pointless thread, why post on it?
