I went with the consensus and picked GGG by KO or stoppage. But this doesn't at all mean that its a forgone conclusion. Anything can happen when you have two exceptionally talented champions who are fighting for their lives. And for whatever its worth, Alvarez has a fairly big youth advantage.

He wins at 155 too...both will weigh in 155 and be 170 fight night.
At 155, he may be too dehydrated to stop Canelo, and then Canelo would get a gift decision.

GGG would and should be favorite, but Canelo is a serious threat to him. he can bang, he can box and he lookalike he has a chin on him.

I think it would be an EPIC fight but I`d pick GGG to stop him late on. It all depends on how Canelo fights. If he goes for it he will get stopped, if he realizes that he has no chance and aims to survive then he could go the 12 rounds. If Murray can go 11 round, Canelo could survive the distance if he fights that way.

The fight I want to see though is GGG v Degale. That would be some fight. Degale has a beard on him, can dig and has great skill when he decides to fight for more than 30 seconds a round.

Im going with Alvarez winning late TKO stoppage. It is going to be action packed fight, can´t wait :box: Btw, the way how people hype GGG on this site is insane.

What makes you think that a durable fighter like GGG would be stopped if little Cotto wasn't? Even Angulo managed to stay on his feet for ten rounds despite repeatedly taking flush shots and he was smiling at Canelo when the ref stepped in.

I'lll give you that Canelo has scored some huge stoppages of glass chinned fighters like Kirkland and Khan though.

if canelo is so tuff, and can bang so good as some say, wtf is doing running around at 155, fighting guys he outweighs by a lot ! ?
ko inside 3 or canelo quits in shock and awe on his stool, also inside three ! dude is fucked ! after all the ducking and running he now openly aclaims he aint afarid of anybody !.... when a wannabe mw champ says that he has to back it up by fighting the no. 1 mw ! but maybe its to late. not many take this guy serious anymore. I think he´d rather just make some easy millions and go play with some lingerie as oscars girlie ! He doesnt care for the sport, had no amateur career, and knows golovkin mops the floor with him !

I think the odds that Canelo will either delay or opt out of the fight are better than 50/50.

If they agree to match, GGG will end the show inside 8 rounds.

Golovkin will handle Canelo with a jab like he did to Lemieux:

I think it'll be GGG by TKO with the ref waving it off while Canelo is getting pummelled against the ropes somewhere between the 8th and 9th rounds. Then Canelo can bitch and moan about a premature stoppage and they'll fight another two times.

I wish I could thumb this post up.

Excellent.
