Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
That was a fair time ago now (as I said in the post) I am pretty sure he has got worse since then and Malik would not lose again. If you remember the Scott-Chisora fight, Scott was winning until a bizarre ending where Scott seemed to just give up.BitPlayer wrote:He already beat Malik Scott.Lennox wrote:Pulev at 5
Chisora out
Chisora is over 2 years since his last reasonable win against an opponent ranked 28. Since that he lost to Fury (no disgrace) and IMO totally dominated by Pulev. His style has not changed, he is not a big puncher, so there is nothing subjectively that leads to believe he can ever defeat a top 20 opponent again. Objectively that is backed up, he faced 5 non top 100 opponents prior to the Pulev fight.
Everyone on that list beats him. Stiverne would totally school him.

The fight was pretty even and either fighter could have been considered to be ahead on reasonable scorecards at the time of the stoppage.Lennox wrote:That was a fair time ago now (as I said in the post) I am pretty sure he has got worse since then and Malik would not lose again. Well I'm pretty sure both Scott, as well as Stiverne don't deserve to be in this list at all.Lennox wrote:That was a fair time ago now (as I said in the post) I am pretty sure he has got worse since then and Malik would not lose again.
