Catterall v Hughes Fri 13th

Anyone tuning in tomorrow? I'm looking forward to it. Always enjoy watching Catterall. Bags of potential. I've not seen much of Hughes just snippets here n there. Does he pose much of a threat?

Undercards not great. That's my only gripe. Something to watch on what's usually a boring Friday night for me though so can't complain too much.

I'll be watching, should be a good scrap,haven't seen Hughes before but remember he beat Anthony Upton last time out,my mates twitter pals with the Upton brothers so have been keeping an eye on them

Catterall looks like a fighter though,still only young but got good experience and developing power along the way,he was excellent against Stalker ,he was pretty ordinary 2 fights ago but apart from that he's been good,I think Hughes will give him a test though

Luke Blackledge defends his Commonwealth SMW title against Ishmael Tetteh on the undercard, Blackledge usually in good fights,the Markham fight was competitive, I remember seeing Tetteh against Martin Murray last year he was pretty poor from memory and retired on his stool after about halfway,he might make a better fist of it against Blackledge though,he's from Accra,Ghana so I think its safe to assume he's teak tough

I vaguely remember hearing something about this a few years ago, think something happened to him when he was younger that has left one side of his body a bit slower than the other.

His right arm is couple of inches shorter than his left, doesn't use his right much during fights.

lookin forward to it I quite like these lower key Friday night shows.

Big fan of Catterall enjoy watching him, but this fights no gimme. I was at Hughes last fight with Upton despite starting slowly and looking like he was going to be outboxed but came on strong and started walking through Upton. Will he be able to do that against Catterall though?

Unbelievable that Hughes has come so far with only using one arm to any consequence. Even considering this I think he will give Catterall a good fight and I think the odds of 8 to 1 on a Hughes win are generous. Catterall should be winning this if he is to prove the hype is valid, but I believe Hughes will give him a much tougher fight than expected and if it goes past round 7 then it gets very interesting
