Nevertheless, if Povetkin used Mildronate then he's simply cheating since 1-1-2016.
I heard 17% of the Russian Athletes got caught for this stuff, so appearantly it's used very often by Russians.
Maria Sharapova used it for over 10 years she said herself.

Of course they are, almost everyone is. They're just not getting caught.ikorolev wrote:And American or Jamaican medalists were not on PEDs ? marion jones only got caught in court, as is the case with most americans caught.ikorolev wrote: And American or Jamaican medalists were not on PEDs ? There is just a comprehensive sanctions campaign against Russia going on.
same for almost all of the balco and biogenesis athletes. pretty rare for americans
to get caught on tests, unless it's pot or some over the counter diet product.
anytime you take supplements you should assume there is something banned in them,
even if not listed on the ingredients, because most of the supplement companies use
only a few labs to mix the ingredients and make them, and those labs make all the
banned stuff also, and the controls they use to prevent everything from mixing together
in their machines are very low. you could buy regular 1-a-day vitamins and you have no
idea what is in them.

i doubt povetkin would have taken this stuff by accident. it looks like a russian thing

You are so naive if you think that ones who were not caught were clean.sucracristo wrote:marion jones only got caught in court, as is the case with most americans caught.ikorolev wrote: And American or Jamaican medalists were not on PEDs ? well i specifically mentioned the two labs that made PED's for those athletes, and mentioned oneikorolev wrote:You are so naive if you think that ones who were not caught were clean.sucracristo wrote:marion jones only got caught in court, as is the case with most americans caught.ikorolev wrote: And American or Jamaican medalists were not on PEDs ? The female hockey team? Never knew that, usually the Dutch teams win that sport don't they?PsychoGamerTwo wrote:Russians in general, use PEDs very often. 15 of 33 russian medalists from Olympia 2014 were drugged, along with many more non-medalists. Now I'm thinking about it, has there ever been caught any Dutch person in the past 5 Olympics? They performed remarkebly well, for such a small country and barely any of the immigrants fighting for the Dutch.

Everybody and his dog is on it.
The day loads of money came into sport, was the day it became widespread.
Anybody who thinks it is related to only certain nationalities is either profoundly stupid or profoundly dishonest.
Everybody is using something, whether fat burners, PED's, presently legal stuff soon to be added to the hundreds on the list.... half the stuff on the banned list aren't even performance enhancers....
The fact that the stuff found in minute quantities in his blood has only been put on the list 120 days ago speaks volumes.
People are getting all hot and bothered about something anybody honest enough knows is the norm. So effing what.

The issue for me is more the hypocrisy and double standards at hand. If it was Wilder that tested positive for this, you know the same people defending Povetkin on here would be all over Wilder calling him a cheat, etc.kaiserbill wrote:Everybody and his dog is on it.

The facts are that they are all using "supplements" of some form or another.
When the authorities finally make it to putting it on to the list of hundreds of various things is purely incidental to their efficiency or lack thereof.

Lefty hit the nail on the head. The so what everybody does it excuse is pathetic. Well said Lefty.lefty wrote:The issue for me is more the hypocrisy and double standards at hand. It wouldn't even surprise me for some idiot to accuse Wilders camp of drugging Povetkin to get out of the fight. There are a few here that stupid.

Everybody does do it, you thick spacker.
I couldn't give a hoot about Wilder or Povetkin or whoever. Or who the eff "points fingers at who". Or who is "surprised".
I'm not a fan of either, and could not give two less effs.
These are the facts of life: Anybody who thinks that pro athletes earning stacks of money from their perfomances aren't using something to get them to the top of their game to earn the most is profoundly stupid.
To be even having this conversation in 2016 is bizarre.

Re: Povetkin vs. Wilder will be in Moscow on May 21
This drug testing baloney is getting totally politicized and I don't believe any of it. Just legalize drugs and knock off the hypocrisy. It has really become a contest of who had the better druggists to hide the stuff from the tests and who can sneak some stuff into the other guys food. Time to do away with it.
Re: Povetkin vs. Wilder will be in Moscow on May 21
Might as well legalize all drugs so the stupid boxers and their teams like team Povetkin can compete on an even playing field.
Re: Povetkin vs. Wilder will be in Moscow on May 21

This was one of the fights I had been looking forward to the most, so hearing this news blows. I guess we still have Takam-Parker for the 21st.

If that's true about EVERYONE doping then ALL fights should be cancelled, ALL fighters should be disciplined. And ALL the fighters who claim to be drug free and is speaking out against it and absolutely showing disgust for doping should stop lying??kaiserbill wrote:Are you being serious????Badhusker wrote:Lefty hit the nail on the head.
