Don't think for second it'll happen BUT if it did it would hit crazy numbers.
For the sake of boxing Floyd would have to dominate him. Floyds gotta end it by KO and early then hopefully Floyd who is without class anyway, does 20 push ups to rub it in. Because I love boxing more than MMA (I watch some UFC) I want a demonstration where you can't just cut in line and go straight to a champion boxer and put up a decent fight.

Can you imagine the MMA fans if Conor goes all the rounds? They'll laugh at boxing.
I wouldnt worry too much. If, by some bizzare occurance, it does happen. McGreggor wouldnt land a single punch on Floyd in a boxing match. Anyone that thinks otherwise needs their head examined. Just like if they fought MMA Floyd would get beaten handily.

No idea why people think the two sports are anything alike. Theyre combat sports, thats where it ends. Theyre as alike as NFL and Rugby Union, or the 100m sprint and the marathon.

I didn't think Floyd would have faught Berto but he did. I don't put this past him.
McGregor is under contract to the UFC. They're not gonna allow this. Fighting an easy mark in Berto who is a Boxer and fights for Haymon isn't nearly the same thing as having a Cross Promotional thing with an Athlete from a completely different sport. The UFC would never allow this.

“We’re the A side,” Mayweather said. “Of course it has to be a boxing match, because most fights that Conor McGregor won inside the octagon, he was a stand-up guy. So I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a tough fight for me. So we don’t really know as of right now. But it’s been a lot of talk, and hopefully we can make the fight happen.

Why no???? Pete Rademacker fought Floyd Patterson in his pro debut with commission approval.. They okay anything... The Boxing Commission okayed Wilt Chamberlain vs Muhammad Ali -- but Ali got cold feet after racking up tons of free publicity about the fight. Ali reneged on the contract to fight Wilt (because he knew damned well he'd get murdered) and wasted everybody's time. Wilt had a slew of lawyers show up at the contract signing and so did Ali. Chamberlain's team was handed a contract to sign that was totally different than the ones they've spent months negotiating - including reducing Chamberlain's time to train from 6 months to 2 months and cutting his pay from a half million to 200 thousand. Millions in possible bonus money was taken out of the contract. A lot of shouting and screaming went on from Chamberlain's side while Ali's side sat there stone faced. Chamberlain wanted to call Ali's bluff and sign the new contract anyway. One of Chamberlain's lawyer took him to the restroom to "talk this over." ... He told Wilt, "Look, there's millions in bonus money potentially in this fight because the whole world wants to see it. They took that out and you don't get a red cent. That makes no sense, and no sense for them to renege on the contract and waste everyone's time. Ali doesn't want to fight. He's not going to fight you. After you train for 6 weeks he's going to find another reason to pull out of the fight." ... The farce was over.

Money talks, he could potentially make more from this one fight than a career in the UFC.

You don't get it. He's under contract, the UFC would have to give him permission and there is no way he makes more money in a boxing pro debut than the millions he makes in the cage.
