Like everyone else, I'm very disappointed that the fight is cancelled. But, honestly, it was the only decision that could be made.
A PED cheat is a PED cheat. If he popped hot for this drug, it's likely that he's been using other PEDs as well. As evidenced by his dramatic body shape change & the increase in his performance level these past couple of years while in his latter 30s. That doesn't happen naturally & anyone that says it does is delusional.
Why they're calling this a postponement rather than a cancellation makes no sense.
Povetkin needs to be punished, which means he should be banned for however long the rules say he should be for PED use.
Wilder did his part.
He was prepared to defend his title against the WBC's #1 contender, but Povetkin cheated so Wilder should be given credit for making his mandatory title defense & be free to make a voluntary title defense as soon as it can be arranged. Which, if I were Wilder's people would be asap.
It would be a shame to waste a training camp like that just to go back & wait for months for another fight to be scheduled.
They should be on the phone right now trying to put together a fight for late June or July.

I don't understand pro-Euro bias.

You guys killed each other for NO REASON in major wars.
You guys killed each other for NO REASON ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

Then you guys jump on some fake European bandwagon against the "enemy" black Americans ...
Who have done what to Europeans?
Who have done what to white people?

The level of bias here is past sensible. You guys are defending a cheat.
You already knew he was, but ignored it just so he could beat Wilder (the evil black guy ... remember when Africans bombed Europe?

At least guys like Brut are crazy about ONE fighter, who is a legend.
Guys like RIcky and Freedom litter the board with illogical support of any and every European fighter.
Then you have the moderates like ikov(whatever) and crusader.
Y'all make any sensible debate impossible because there is no consistency in your points.
Tarver takes PEDS, he's a joke. Povetkin takes PEDs, let's explore the situation.

What were you guys saying when Guillermo Jones was involved in one of the most shady drug test in boxing history?
You guys were silent to blaming Jones.

No integrity in debate. No integrity in competition. No integrity in history.
Pretty much sums up European history, and the mentality that was raped and forced on the rest of the world.

Wilder should sue Povetkin. All those expensive PEDs and procedures to clear Deontay's body of those for nothing, because somebody in Povetkin's team screwed up ? Sasha should have hired Deontay's nutritionists.

LOL at Jones's positive test (he already tested positive for that drug when he fought Nelson) being one of the most shady in history.......and you want to moan about bias

 Russia isn't even Europe, it were the Europeans who brought those black Americans to America in the first place, the most appriciated boxer from Europe (or well...) is Anthony Joshua, who's a black guy. It's the white guys (Fury, Klitschko, name them) who barely get any credits.

Also, we're not defending a cheat, but we just watch it the way it is, it has never been proven that maldonium has any positive results at all, it used to be allowed, the amount traced was absolutely minimal and could very well be the latest bit left of when it was allowed, guy has a completely clean and perfect record before this stuff was traced in his body and he's, by a factor 15 or so, below the point where the tests would be considered as positive. That's pretty much the same as saying "Wilder took a cup of coffee two months ago, which resulted in a higher adrenaline avarage in his body, he should be banned for life!!!". And now you suggesting it's the Europeans where's something wrong with?

It doesn't really matter, its an advantage, be it more power, stamina, or whatever. I heard it increases O² flow in the muscles, this means, you last longer AND you gain more muscles, getting stronger. Its no wonder Povetkin looks like a bull with 37, when he's been a chubby guy in his "prime". I believe every boxer uses legal 'unfair' advantages.
asdfjkl wrote:The female hockey team? Never knew that, usually the Dutch teams win that sport don't they?
Now I'm thinking about it, has there ever been caught any Dutch person in the past 5 Olympics? They performed remarkebly well, for such a small country and barely any of the immigrants fighting for the Dutch.
Even though i like the idea of the Olympics & am one of the few guys that watch it aswell... i only know of Dafne Schippers, a dutch runner, world champ of 2015. Busted for PEDs. About hockey, russians & dutch weren't even top. #1 been Canada, #2 the USA, #3 Switzerland... Russia was 5th & the Dutch were 19th.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Field_hoc ... r_Olympics

I guess you're wrong, the Dutch men won silver and the Dutch womans won gold in hockey...

Daphne Schippers using PEDs? I've never heard of that, what makes you believe that? To me you sound like a drunk men talking actually.
Yeah, in 2012, but not 2014 when the russian (ice)hockey-team tested positive. And it doesn't even matter if the Dutch won Gold or not.

Schippers suddenly went way better, got more muscly, a bigger jaw, and acne. Typical.

Couldn't really care what you think like i sound, sorry.
