Good fight but not as good as Burton/Dodson,now that would be a great fight

Re: burton v buglioni
Buglioni took a decision against Burton in the amateurs, good fight, I fancy Burton to win a close one
Re: burton v buglioni
I think Burton would stop buglioni.
Re: burton v buglioni
not seen Burton till last night and thought he looked great going forward , but really suprised at how he was pulling his head back with no guard particularly in the first round , at top level might get found out if Gallagher doesn't iron that out .

Re: burton v buglioni
I'm edging Frank on points but that's only if he shows improvements at light heavy.
Re: burton v buglioni
You guys like an '0' on the record, Burton has fought no one barring Shinkwin. Buglioni beats him comfortably,Team Burton know it too, hence why Gallagher won't have the fight.
Re: burton v buglioni
Good fight for both guys. Burton for the stoppage. Buglioni is a decent operator but very easy to hit.

Re: burton v buglioni
This would be a good match if it happens, I fancy frank just I think Hosea makes a few to many amateur mistakes still, be good fight to watch if it ever happens but probably won't cos of Gallagher

Re: burton v buglioni
Could be fight of the night this,Burton has been criticised for being a bit boring and one paced but he seems to be developing well and adding a bit of power since beating Shinkwin for the British,he's a tidy boxer I like him, also I love watching Buglioni he always gives value for money and is never in a dull fight, styles should gel well in this one
Buglioni has been inactive though, only one fight since he lost the world title fight to Chudinov and hasn't had time to grow into the weight,I think Burton is too technically good for Frank who's defence is non existent, Burton will be landing clean heavy shots and although Buglioni's gonna be brave,I think Hosea stops him round about the 8th

Finding it hard to pick a winner. I'm edging Buglioni. Haven't been impressed with Burton looks very one paced.
Got a feeling Buglioni will outwork him late in, to a close points win.

Re: burton v buglioni
Think Burton has the power to KO him on the way in, not sure if Burton has lost a round yet as a pro and his power seems to be really developing, however he looks like a novice when put under pressure, I'm picking Burton to win a thriller in round 8
Re: burton v buglioni
I've got burton via stoppage
Re: burton v buglioni
Think Burton's one paced but has too much power for Buglioni. Once he lands a few it will be over.

Really???? The killer 'English Tommy Hearns' with a 50% Ko ratio against journeyman against the 'White Nigel Benn' who has at least fought in world class... it's a 50/50 fight but I'm leaning towards the Albino Benn....Stuffs wrote:Think Burton's one paced but has too much power for Buglioni. If Buglionis chin can take Chudinovs power it will be ok with Burton.
Re: burton v buglioni
I heard this was the first fight on which is a shame as it's one of the best.
Re: burton v buglioni
doesn't always work like that does it ? Burtons a taller more rangy lad and could easily hurt frank more than chudinov did just by catching him on the end of his long punchesPredatorHayds wrote:If Buglionis chin can take Chudinovs power it will be ok with Burton.

I don't personally think Burton looks a big puncher.littlepug wrote:doesn't always work like that does it ? I'm edging Buglioni here but the vast majority seem to be going Burton stoppage.
Re: burton v buglioni
does my head in when they don't get the running order right, Charlie Edwards world title shot for example was on so early it almost seemed disrespectful to the championrm1 wrote:I heard this was the first fight on which is a shame as it's one of the best.

(I know Smigga isn't on the card but he fits in with the "joke")

Surely they cant put this on before Ortiz/Allenhandsofstone wrote:littlepug wrote:does my head in when they don't get the running order right, Charlie Edwards world title shot for example was on so early it almost seemed disrespectful to the championrm1 wrote:I heard this was the first fight on which is a shame as it's one of the best.Agree 100% Concepción/Yafai will probably be on before Paul Smith's 6 rounder against the overweight Latvian

maybe not but his skills- and Buglioni's open style and lack of head movement- should mean littlepug is right, IMO

Re: burton v buglioni
I'm thinking of a Ruiz, Buglioni and Chisora trixie this weekend. Do I think they will all win? No probably not but the odds are too good to turn down on each one. Round about 3.75 for each.
