I'd like to think his defeats were down to the drug cheating but i think he just isn't good enough and it would have made no difference to the outcome of either loss whether they were drugged or not.

Cheating is wrong but David should just get on with it,The result won't change, my last fight V Eugino Monterio result stayed the same even though he got banned for 1 year straight after the fight for testing positive with 3 banned substances in his system.

Shocking whats happened to pricey. Both fights should become automatic wins for him and life bans handed out.

Guys spot on...its allright saying his chin is china but tbf hes been hit with and fighting guys that are on something. Some of these drugs nowadays are allowing people to lift double what they can naturally lift. Speeding up recovery etc. A clean blokes gonna struggle against that.

I dont condone drugs in boxing but if theres ever been a guy i d recommend to get involved with peds its david price.

I was ringside that night Anthony and Monterio landed heavy, heavy shots throughout the fight with seemingly endless stamina. If I was you I would be very bitter!

The fact is as he says he has been cheated.How can he retire never knowing,it will drive the fella mad.Get him in with a few domestics get a winning feeling again and I also want to see him reinstated into the rankings or at least given a chance to get back in.

It might all end the same way but at least he can retire knowing.

I also feel for Price having to basically get this story out himself,had he not. Forced it and opened his gob nothing would have been done about Teper's and he would still be ranked top 5 in some orgs.Price now faces being labeled bitter and delusional for just wanting a fair playing field.Good luck to him.

I wish people would stop banding Sprott's name about. He should never fight again.

I don't blame him for feeling bitter. Regardless of whether or not he would have beaten Tony Thompson or Erkan Teper anyway he's only lost to two men and both have failed drugs tests.

However, I think he should focus his energy looking forward. He can either sit about and think of what might have been or get out there and do something about it.

The problem is it's hard to plot a route back for him as there are not many heavyweights who he would expect to beat but will give him rounds and develop him. At the moment it seems like the opponents will either be very poor who, with his power, he will knock out in a round or two or too dangerous.

If I were him I'd look at the likes of Gary Cornish, David Allen or Ian Lewison. If he can attach a British / Commonwealth title to these fights at some point so much the better. My plan for him would be to try and win the Lonsdale belt outright, earn a bit of cash to help pay off the mortgage and give the kids a decent start in life and hope to get himself in a position where he can challenge for something bigger later on.

He really needs four or five wins and hope another Charles Martin comes along. He'll always have a puncher's chance and if he can get himself in a position where he could be a credible opponent for the likes of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua or David Haye then has has the chance of ending his career with a nice PPV purse as a retirement fund.

I wish him well as he always comes across as a nice guy.
