Ola looked to have lost a step or 3 in his recent fights with Huck and VER. Too many wars.

You're dreaming.

If anyone gets stopped, it's Lebedev.

I've never seen someone put a beating on Afolabi like Ramirez did. I would hedge it for sure, seeing the odds have moved.

If Ramirez comes to win instead of a paycheck (which is perfectly possible), it's anybody's fight.
Why wouldn't he "come to win"? It's a unification bout for Christ sake. If he loses it'll have have nothing to do with desire and everything to do with Lebedev being a better boxer, which the books clearly believe is the case.

VER is now +900. Would have to be dumb not to hedge at this point.

Lebedev's the better boxer, but Ramirez is the better puncher.

And it's not uncommon for fighters to just show up for a paycheck, title bout or not; England is their favorite venue, i believe.

Hedge is what i would do.

I don't think Ramirez is a better puncher than Lebedev.

If you really look at the style matchup of this fight it really seems tailor made for DL. VER comes in straight lines. Lebedev is gonna side step him and pick him off coming in with regularity. Stylistically it seems like a straight forward fight for DL.

That's why he managed to mark Lebedev's face in less than two rounds ?

He was definitely hurt, but I know what crow means. Ramirez had some weird ass reactions when he was hurt like when he leaned down with his arms straight out, and then shortly after that he turned his back to Lebedev, and was steady getting attacked the whole time.

He's a fighter that likes to be the aggressor, and I guess he just didn't know what the hell to do when he was hurt.

Taking punch after punch following a knockdown can make people do funny things.

Ramirez fought as he typically does, but Lebedev clearly had better skills (contrary to what crow believes he's the better puncher too) and caught VR with a good shot coming in. Ramirez was obviously in serious trouble, and he couldn't deal with Lebedev's follow-up just by gritting it out as he's done when lesser foes caught and hurt him as he moved forward. I saw nothing shady or half-hearted from Ramirez; he just ran into a better fighter and as is sometimes the case was taken out early.
