The only way he'll hear the end of it is if he fights GGG. Other than that he'll forever be a ducker. No matter who he fights he avoided the very best, and he'll never live it down. I'm sure several Mexican fans will turn their backs on him for this. Especially after his comments following the Khan fight. He says in no uncertain words that "We don't f*ck around"..."I'll put the gloves on and fight him right"..."We have no problem fighting him at 160"

in order for canelo to be allowed to fight for the wbc title last two fights (and cotto before him),
he signed 2 contracts agreeing GGG is next. if GGG is not next, canelo will never hear the end
of it whatever excuse he makes. even if he goes back to 154, no matter who he fights, he will be
asked about nothing but GGG all day every day, from everybody. he won't be able to go out in
public forever without being asked about it. even if people try to ease up to it by starting the
conversation talking about the weather or whatnot, he will know the question is coming. canelo
could still have some big fights after this, but there will always be this wet blanket over them.

So to translate it basically means, we will offer the fight to GGG at 154lbs with no title at stake, for a ridiculous purse split, he'll say FU and we can make some other fights with smaller guys. #mexicanwarrior.

just went onto twitter and saw saunders calling canello a shit bag. that isn't
going to help negotiations if canelo decides to make a lateral move for the wbo
and stay at 160. we all know saunders would prefer canelo to fighting ggg.
just as much (if not more) money with a better chance at being competitive.
i still think canelo is going back down to 154 for andrade or cotto or charlos.
