Not if he ignores Fury's ramblings it won't.Maxsplit wrote:The thing is, whether it's mind games or not Klitschko won't have any more clue than we do and regardless of its truth it will totally mess with his head whether it is intended to or not!
If I was Klitschko's team I would tell him to avoid EVERYTHING Fury says as its a complex maze of thoughts the man himself doesn't have a clue how it will end.
Wlad is so ordered and structured such an opponent as Fury with his tools, youth and mindset is just a total and utter headfuck for him. I'm still surprised he took the rematch!
Re: Tyson Fury dropped 3 times in sparring by a light-heavyweight
True. I thought it was a wind up initially but after I read a bit about it last night I got reeled right indaviddee wrote:Fury us a cracking Fishermen he catches 1000s everytime

We still don't know for sure. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's had a rough time in sparring, why wouldn't he?
Re: Tyson Fury dropped 3 times in sparring by a light-heavyweight
I’ve got a feeling that Fury might turn round one day and think “what if?” if his reign turns out to be short lived. Thing is, once Klitschko retires, Fury is that much bigger than the opposition he could pick it up and put it down in this era if he wanted.keithmoonhangover wrote:Wouldn't surprise me if he's telling the truth. I was talking to his cousin a couple of weeks back and Tyson had told him that he 'couldn't be arsed' to train for the fight. He's lacking motivation at the minute, but hopefully he can find it soon.
He has expressed very clearly that nothing can top his Everest moment....but I wonder if when he’s 50 he might think he could have done a few years at the pinnacle - like the man he beat...
Re: Tyson Fury dropped 3 times in sparring by a light-heavyweight
Yeah, I think he's certainly good enough to get a few years at the top, and probably unify. But if he retires now we'll never know for sure, and people will say it was just a fluke.

Klitshko 2, Wilder, Joshua, haye, maybe Lucas Browne, povetkin, Luis Ortiz and Joseph Parker.BitPlayer wrote:Yeah, I think he's certainly good enough to get a few years at the top, and probably unify. But if he retires now we'll never know for sure, and people will say it was just a fluke.
Fury is 5 fights away from being discussed on all time great lists if he did those and they went to plan. Unfortunately he is unlikely to have the motivation

This. If wlad wins in his standard fashion this time I'm sure he'll roll out some excuses for the first performance and people will declare it a lucky winBitPlayer wrote:Yeah, I think he's certainly good enough to get a few years at the top, and probably unify. Re: Tyson Fury dropped 3 times in sparring by a light-heavyweight
So Fury does a video saying he was dropped in sparring by a light heavy, some people believe it, they then go mad saying people are fcking idiots for believing a massive heavyweight could be dropped by a 12 and half stone fighter (neglecting to realise that of course a light heavy not close to a fight is probably a 14 stone man). Hmm, I reckon if Kov hit him clean in sparring, he could topple, it is not that stupid really. They are becoming idiots
ALong with all the "This man beat a super champion, he beat the man, fcecking AJ gets all the sponsorship, publicity and we are ignored" followed by a homophobic rant, which is then followed by another apology and not one second to realise that if he had value, of bloody course the big companies would be falling over themselves to sign him up.
They can play the "poor travelling man, we are victimised" shite all day, they need some intelligence to look at their words, behavior and ask themselves logically, would a clean cut company want his name associated. Fck, Nike had to drop Pac for a short interview with one negative comment on homosexuals while Fury rants continously with the same and worse.
To be honest, I am tiring of it and their stupidity.

I'm not , and the reason is if they want to sprout shite and lose sponsors ,, what do i care , has long has i'm entertained on here and u tube .. Because i won't buy a ticket to see a rubbish fight anyway ,, and too be honest i expect Vlad to either go in and quit like last time .. OR this time actually go for it, and then he'll probably stop him .. Just can't make my mind up which it will be .Seven Tapered Knives wrote:I know just how you feeltobyh5 wrote:I am tiring of it and their stupidity.

If Fury doesn't mess up this fight with poor concentration and even worse conditioning he will probably do it in the next fight. At the moment he's succeeding in keeping people guessing. I just felt "fornicate it", I'm not spending £100 to at worst watch him give the belt away to the most tedious heavyweight champion of all time; at best watch him win another glorified game of tag.the first bout was historical - one of the most important wins ever by a British fighter - but it was an appalling spectacle, extremely jarring watching men of that size just touch each other.
People with weight problems can get in shape for this or that fight, but the problem will always come back. How used to being in shape is Fury? In his early career I believe he was known for not takingit seriously. Did it take a shock, like the near miss to McDermott, to motivate him? Fury has had some momentum on his side I believe but once losing that momentum it will be an uphill struggle.
Obviously the magnitude of the first Wlad fight made him take it seriously but it is hard for some people to go there all over again.
Riddick Bowe scaled the mountain in1992 and never was willing to go there again in terms of sacrifice (Holyfield took much punishment but it was likely an ordeal too for Bowe, coming in light, having to dig deep himself, being unable to quite put his foe away, dealing with the fierce rallies of Holyfield after dropping his man) - until the SECOND fight with Golota. By that time he was weight drained, dehydrated and on Bambi legs. And it was too late for him to be in condition.
Once a big fella lets himself go it really is bad news.

Chaps, it is not the antics, I do not care who sponsors him, it is the BS they talk about being victimised, not respected, how it is because they are travelling men, that they are not supported or sponsored despite being the main man in the division but too blind or stupid or something else to work out that they are making themselves impossible to sponsor.
It winds me up a little to listen to them bitching all the time, then in the next breath expressing some more controversial opinions that are the very reason they are not respected/supported/getting endorsements etc and totally unable to link those two things

Got to agree ,, Billy Joe is the same always moaning and bitching about everyone being racist towards him . Racist the most overused word in the world at the momenttobyh5 wrote:bripez wrote:Same here - on all pointsconeye wrote:

Yeah this is the crux of it for me. Fury goes on a bizarre rant about homosexuality/paedophilia/bestiality, then claims he's being persecuted by the media for being a gypsy? Erm no, it's because you talk a load of sh!t.tobyh5 wrote: It winds me up a little to listen to them bitching all the time, then in the next breath expressing some more controversial opinions that are the very reason they are not respected/supported/getting endorsements etc and totally unable to link those two things
Don't get me wrong, I do find him quite funny sometimes and it can be refreshing to hear someone refusing to wheel out the usual niceties and clichés that come with media training. But Fury needs to accept that if he's going to speak his mind and spout a stream of controversial rubbish, he's going to get criticism from some quarters and is unlikely to attract some of the big name sponsors who simply don't want to be associated with it.
