Today's move by Canela shows she never really wanted to face GGG.
I suspect she's going to ask for a 155 catch weight, and when GGG rightfully refuses ( he's nearly 35) she will claim she still wanted to fight but Gennady wouldn't.

The point is Canela will be forced to move up in weight sooner or later, because her body is filling up; in maybe 1, max 2 years time, she will be forced to fight at 160.

She will have to take the smaller purse vs Gennady then.

Agree with this 100%. It is so obvious why Canelo has stayed at 155 last few years. Unfortunately in boxing every decision a fighter makes becomes justified: "Canelo is A-side" "Canelo is a 154 fighter" etc.

You are forgetting that between 155 and 160 there are 156, 157, 158 and 159. He, pardon me, she could move up step by step, one pound per year.

There's no big difference from 154 to 155 ,he will stay at light middle simple because if he goes up he'll have to fight ggg.
