Fair play Parker...he looked shagged out mid fight but came on strong and looked the stronger at the end.

Looking at the state of the referee, anyone would think he'd boxed 12 rounds!

I have it a draw but I'm sure Parker will get the nod. A lot to like about Parker at 24 years old.

We haven't seen Joshua in the 11th though.

Think this will stand Parker in good stead for the future.

Shame he will have to fight Joshua next, he needs a bit of work
I think he'll be fighting Pulev next. This wasn't a final eliminator although it was originally meant to be the case I think.

Parker didn't look great here. Gets hit a lot. Joshua would steamroll him.

Parker was gassed from the 5th round. Won't be going too far with conditioning like that.

Parker showed he has a good chin and heart. His stamina is suspect though and his all round boxing ability i'm not sure. Him vs Whyte would be an intriguing fight prior to the Joshua fight actually.

They're saying he's the mandatory. I thought he has to fight Pulev first but I dunno lol.

As far as I understand it's Pulev he has to fight next. We shall see soon enough.

Yeah, it's a bit confusing, I've heard both.

Joshua beats him, even Pulev is a big ask.

Think he'd give Wilder absolute nightmares if his chin held up though.

Whatever happens, he's only young.

Takam nowhere near as good as I was expecting, so one dimensional. Parker did well to get through that but Takam let him off the hook as he didn't have the skill to go up a level. Parkers defence will let him down when he fights someone with a better skill set than Takam. If it's Pulev next he gets beat, if it's Josh he gets beat! Full respect to Parker getting the win but his stamina and defence will be his downfall

I don't know if Parker paced the fight well. He was gassing big time around the 5th. I thought it was more of a case of Takam letting him get a second win because he was only really fighting for the last minute of the round.

Not the most exciting fight, Takam seemed to lack that killer instinct. I felt there was numerous times where he could have put more pressure on, but he didn't seem to take advantage. Fair play to Parker though, a solid performance overall.

Parker has enough to beat pulev imo. Wilder would be seriously interesting .

Takam obviously game opponent. All that experience, having fought Povetkin. Lot of Joshua comparisons. Whyte or Martin as good as Takam? That's the question.

Parker didn't look too good tonight.

Thought Parker showed good heart, he's up for the battle definitely. Think they should hold off going for Joshua or Wilder, they would both stop him at present. Get him more experience against top 10 lads.

Pulev didnt look great against Chisora. The Pulev of old I think would beat Parker though. I think Parker would have trouble with Pulev's jab in particular.

I'll give Parker credit for coming through there, he showed a lot of character for a 24 year old who looked gassed by midway,I had it 116-112,strange tactics from Takam though I thought he gave it away if I'm honest, if he'd made Joseph work for the whole round instead of just the last minute then I think there was a good chance Parker could've folded like Price in the Thompson rematch,Carlos didn't look tired and he was always standing in between rounds so I'm a bit stumped as his gameplan there

Still give Parker his due he toughed it out and finished well but his defence is awful and he's an accident waiting to happen at the next level up, his stamina needs to be addressed too, good fight all the same but Takam should be kicking himself

As others have said, Parker's defence is lacking - he moves well, but doesnt slip shots when he's done throwing. Takam countered him over and over just by waiting to throw between punches. Offensively, he gives away something of his very good hand speed through slightly predictable punch selection - Takam was able to block and slip the majority of shots coming at him.

That said, good chin and obviously gutsy. Needs so much work before he's ready for the top.

I think Luis Ortiz would flatten Parker aswell. Actually I think he'd beat a lot of the guys in the division.
