Bivol won a one-sided UD over Valera, who was knocked down twice and battered in every round but wouldn't give up.

I guess they're saving Kudryashov for the co-main. Let's see if he is forced to go past a round by Dos Santos. Seeing that he seems to have 1.5 rounds in his gas tank maybe it gets interesting if the Brazilian doesn't get knocked over in 2 mins.

Kudryashov is impressive to me.

He walked De Santos down, punishing him with powerful punches until he dropped for the second time. Then De Santos's the corner stopped the fight.

Offensively Kud is a danger to most fighters at the weight and don't forget that despite the loss he seriously shook Durodola only about a minute into the fight. That said, his defensive shortcoming are pretty sizable and I don't think his chin is good enough for him to afford them against hard hitting opponents.

Still one of my favorites to watch though---a KO or be KO'd type.

Dos Santos sucks. He's the same as all the guys who Kudra has beaten. Guys who couldnt absorb his punches nor punch back. He's fought one guy who can do both, Duradola, and was finished within 2 rds.

Because it's a gross mismatch against an opponent who went life and death with Dennis Bakhtov? I guess it will at least be quick.....

Not everything can be a two-sided back and forth affair like Briggs vs Zarate. :OhYes:
