Haye easy.
Was that the crowd sighing as he stated it was Briggs next?

I really dont want to watch this fight, but its like booze I cant it let go and would rather suffer another headache the following morning. I honestly dont give a flying shite. Infact I would rather put my cock in a mincing grinder and sing frigging in the rigging while fingering a crack whore from Philly.

Briggs talked his way into his last major payday. That's all he's been wanting these last few years. He'll go down without much of a fuss.

Which is funny, when in my opinion that's exactly what Haye is doinggilgamesh wrote:Briggs talked his way into his last major payday. That's all he's been wanting these last few years. He'll go down without much of a fuss.

Yeah if they make this a UK PPV, Haye might be content to just ride off into the sunset having swindled people out of money, and skip the whole faking injuries thing when Fury and Joshua get talked about as future opponents.Twinkle Toes wrote:Which is funny, when in my opinion that's exactly what Haye is doinggilgamesh wrote:Briggs talked his way into his last major payday. Fury wont give Haye a payday now, he doesn't need him. After Klit he has Joshua and Wilder to make big money from.gilgamesh wrote:Yeah if they make this a UK PPV, Haye might be content to just ride off into the sunset having swindled people out of money, and skip the whole faking injuries thing when Fury and Joshua get talked about as future opponents.Twinkle Toes wrote:Which is funny, when in my opinion that's exactly what Haye is doinggilgamesh wrote:Briggs talked his way into his last major payday. Haye will be hoping to go down the AJ route, beat Briggs in September, another knockover in January (maybe and IBF ranked guy) then onto Joshua around this time next year at Wembley. That's how I see Haye planning it...

Yeah but Joshua will have his mandatory first (Parker), i'd be surprised if they agreed to take Haye on as a voluntary, hopefully they make Haye fight a few names first, Dillian Whyte would be ideal. Given the quality of mismatchroom cards at the moment, I'd be surprised if they put Haye in straightaway with Joshua, also with his track record of shafting Sky Box Office (Wlad, and Fury x 2), needs to prove himself as reliable first.wesshaw1985 wrote:Fury wont give Haye a payday now, he doesn't need him. I'm not sure theyd kill off one of Whyte and Haye by matching them together. 2 very good pay days for Joshua there.ThereByTheGrace wrote:Yeah but Joshua will have his mandatory first (Parker), i'd be surprised if they agreed to take Haye on as a voluntary, hopefully they make Haye fight a few names first, Dillian Whyte would be ideal. I think AJ will finish out this year facing US bums then face Parker early in 2017 i imagine leading to Haye in the summer...
Re: David Haye vs. Shannon Briggs - TBA
I certainly won't, just as I didn't watch tonight's dreadful mismatch.wesshaw1985 wrote:you and I both will be watching when the fight happens, no matter how ridiculous the fight is...ThereByTheGrace wrote:who cares?wesshaw1985 wrote:who wins?
A fight with Briggs would be laughable....he's 44, hasn't beaten a top 50 opponent in nearly 10 years, and was on the end of a horrible beating the last time he faced a good opponent, which of course was several years ago.

Re: David Haye vs. Shannon Briggs - TBA
Haye should be getting Stiverne to get his WBC ranking.
Wilder should be his target the WBC title gives him more baragaining power in Joshua unification talks too.

Pointless fight for Haye.
It might raise his profile & fill the O2 again, but it won't tell us if he's ready to step up.
I thought Haye had bigger fish to fry these days?

Re: David Haye vs. Shannon Briggs - TBA
my take on it.......
Haye might well be too much for Briggs. But Briggs wont fold without throwing leather, which is what Hayes previous opponents have done. Shannon will go out on his shield, and if he catches haye.........it could be all over.....dont ever forget the LLonga Mock moment!!.....he was a LH.
'i dont need no ticket..........im the champ'

Re: David Haye vs. Shannon Briggs - TBA
Perfect fight for Haye to con the boxing fans and make out its going to be a brilliant fight. Is Haye actually interested in a world title fight or more interested in conning people out of money and building his bank balance? I think Haye is doing just that. A huge payday against Briggs and a quick excit run to retirement, or fake injury to get into retirement.Syntax Error wrote:Pointless fight for Haye.

Re: David Haye vs. Shannon Briggs - TBA
Briggs, the opponent you all dreaded as Haye's next opponent - before Gjergjaj was announced. As Haye's next opponent.
I didn't know Gjergjaj was coming from Switzerland, not a strong country for boxing. I had assumed he was Polish and expected a basic level of competence.
Weak stuff when Briggs is a step up.
Haye may get a championship fight on the publicity alone but can he actually compete in a big fight?
