More nonsense from Khan

Post by BigDoofus »

The Brook "fight is never going to happen"

"I'm ready for Kell, whenever"

"If he's with Eddie Hearn it's not happening"

I think Canelo did more damage to Khan that he is letting on.

The poor man is all over the place.

He just needs to make up his mind & decide if he wants to fight or not.

Ricky Hatton did the same with Junior Witter & categorically stated that he would not fight Junior Witter & that put paid to all the speculation.

Khan needs to do the same here, because as long as they both around, this question is going to be asked, more so if one of them is a trinket holder.

What a load of rubbish.

He is saying if it is with Hearn it can't happen.

Now I can critisize Eddie Hearn a LOT but he very clearly wants that fight and has done for some time.

Khan's last excuse for not fighting Brook was that he didn't like him.

You would have thought punching someone you don't like was more fun.

If that was a reason not to fight someone, boxing would have ceased in about 1899! :oo

I have said this countless times. It would be a lot more fun making sure he never got the big fight and the mega millions.

Going on Khans assumption that he would beat him and how he thinks it would then pan out
Scenario one - Fight him, bang him out, enjoy that joy for a long time but eventually, it will not be much on his radar and just another win but then for Kell, he feels pain for a while, embarrassed a while, lives a life of riches forever. For me Kell is in a win win if they fight.

Scenario two - Khan does not fight him. Kell fails to get any big fights. Kell has a big pot of money but not mansion and Bentley money. In 20 years, Khan is still lording it in his mansion knowing Kell is having a lesser life because of him.

I can see how that is more fun than punching him.

Surely it's even more enjoyable taking a shed load of money from a guy you don't like too. It's not like he's known for not paying fighters (as far as I'm aware)

Exactly! If ever there was an excuse for fighting someone 'I don't like him' must be right at the top of the feckin list!

it's pathetic and vindictive. I really disliked Hatton for saying that was his reason to not fight witter. Basically saying if I fight him he gets a really nice life, can send his kids to a good school, have a big house, drive a nice motor, go on nice holidays... I don't want him to have that. I've got it and he hasn't. Good.

Seriously, what a prick.

Yeah mate, pretty much. I understand it totally though. If the dislike runs that deep, I can understand how it makes sense to him.

Is Scenario 3 the fear of losing and having to come off twitter?

Which is why I put "Going on Khans assumption that he would beat him and how he thinks it would then pan out" so I would not have to list all scenarios including the one that sees him losing.

Coming off twitter would be ok for him, Skype not so much fun.......

Couldn't agree more. It's vindictive and weak.

FWIW, I think Hatton's aversion to Witter had more to do with the fact that, at the time, Junior would've given him fits and the risk vs reward ratio was too tight.

Whether it's vindictive or just a convenient excuse, it's the fans who always miss out.

Hatton wasn't the type of person to be frightened by anybody and I'm sure he didn't think he'd have not beaten Witter. I totally believe his "reason" for not fighting Witter. It might not be nice but at least it's honest and I sort of respect that.

I doubt he was afraid of Witter but in terms of risk/reward it was very much a 'who needs him' matchup.

If the reason really was that he wanted to keep food off Witter's kids' table, then that's really poor form from Hatton.

Witter deserved a shot and should've got one.

I doubt very much it was ever going to get that bad for Witter lol. Denying him luxury is one thing but I don't think his family were ever going to starve.

Exactly; it's not as if there aren't other significant challenges to be had a 147.

There's some cracking fighters around at the moment & Brook needs to fight someone with a pulse, so he should be targeting one of them.

Completely agree. The fight has lost its value IMO. Khan just got sparked. Brook would do the same. There's other fights out there for Kell.

Does anyone even think this fight is competitive these days

Brook nailed on win.... If we did a poll it would be 99% in favour of brook

Brook move on and make your path !

Only people who want this is brook for dosh and people who want to see Khan KO again

Good point. Brook punches hard and is very accurate. I've always said he'd slaughter Khan. He has a very good solid jab which I think would trouble Khan as well.
