Adrien Broner vs Timmy Bradley

Post by Chepppaaa »

i rate broner lower compared to all the top guys at ww, simply because i think ab is weak. spence, thurman, brook, porter etc would all beat him. the only top ww, who i think ab would have a good chance winning, cause he even weaker is bradley

i know tim is such a great technician and blabla, but adrien is more athletic and got a litle bit more power and equaly speed. i think ab wins against tim. athletiscm over technique, if it would be otherwise than hopkins and toney would have beaten roy.

I'm going with Broner too.

I think Bradley is a little over the hill & that has what has swayed it for me.

Had it been the Bradley of 2011, then I'd pick him to beat Broner, but not now.

I dunno, tough fight to call because both boxers essentially have two different personalities when they fight.

The Clowning showman broner loses to any of the top Welterweights but if he's in the gym and dedicated he can cause an upset.

The smart Bradley who out boxed marquez...wherever that guy is...he could potentially win a decision over anyone but Spence or brook right now. The aggressive slugger Bradley would eat check hooks and rights from a serious broner and be dropped or stopped.

Bradley beats Broner easy as hell. He'd win 9 rounds out of 12 at least.

Broner probably lost to Paulie and De Leon, and you're gonna pick him against Bradley, who has beaten numerous world class opponents, and only ever lost to Pacquaio? Stupid is as stupid does, Mrs. Blue.

Bradley. Easily. Just like Porter and Maidana.

Bradley easily. Way too busy for broner.i think broner stands too still and Tim would have a field day with him. I'd love to see it.

Bradley is a work horse and a few years ago I would've taken him to wipe the floor with Broner but if Broner has learned anything from the Maidana and Porter defeats then he will maintain a distance and work when he has the opportunity to resulting in a points win. Bradley isn't what he was unfortunatly. Still a fun fight though...

Agreed.

He's not shot; nowhere near, put I do believe he has peaked.

Once upon a time he would've but I don't think he's capable now. He's still a good fighter and he's still good enough to make it a fight. Broner is his own worst enemy at times. If he turns up prepared then I can't see past him but if he isn't ready then Bradley is still good enough to spring a surprise on him!

Is this actually happening?

If not, can there be a way to designate hypotheticals within the title of threads like this?

Has Broner finally learnt enough to compete with a top welter?

At almost 34, is Bradley still as good as he was?

Logic says Bradley, going on past form, but I get the feeling that Broner has improved & is taking the game more seriously.

Also, Bradley does seem to like getting into punchups which is not wise as he can't punch & not necessary because he is so skilled.

If he did that with Broner, it would probably be lights out.

I don't say this lightly when I say only an idiot would think Broner beats Bradley. There's absolutely nothing to support that thought process. Nothing.

Bradley was excellent against Rios and Pacquiao. He's an outstanding chin (provo) and immense heart. Briner is a C level fighter at welterweight and got his ass handed to him by Maidana and outclassed vs Porter. I had it a draw vs Malignaggi.

Bradley is a far superior calibre of fighter.

zojo: all you need do is look at either boxers record and see if it is on their schdule. That means.. if it is schduled, they will show the match on top and the wording will indicate. Not that I yet know about is this a schduled match but, since we there I'll look now. But, that's how to check anyone. Sometimes BoxRec miss but pretty much it's reliable.

No, nothing up. 4-1-16 Broner's last. Good win vs 39-6-1 Theophane. 2-0 lately. Bradley nothing new up.
Two posts back: Broner a lot greater than a C level rating guy. Where you coming from? I'd say B+
As far as them two together. No. Yes. Bradley is the obvious choice however. At elite level as these two compete at, it is quite possible to be tilted off. Plus, it's possible in the light of Pac III
that Tim has peaked as someone here has already stated. Broner is someone he has experience a ebb and tide. If you read interview on him you will have same insight. He's someone whom, you expect to comeback. But, yes, Bradley much finer type of fighter to now. He has been thus far a level above. But, the level they compete at it is high volicity. Danger zone.
And three posts before mine, Broner not such a great hitter. How deep really are you here?
