Massive fan of Haye. Boxed for the Fitzroy Lodge myself when he was there. Got a selfie with him at the NEC last Saturday and exchanged a few words.

BUT AJ takes him. David is fighting utter jokes and there is a reason he is being so ultra selective.

Haye is all wrong for AJ. Haye wins by KO inside 4. Joshua wouldn't have came up against anything like Haye even in the ams or sparring. If I was Hearn I would stay well clear of Haye.

I agree. In fact, Hearn has hinted many times that he thinks Haye would be the hardest possible fight for Joshua. I genuinely believe he'd put AJ in with Fury immediately, but he won't want him anywhere near Haye at this stage.

Haye is one of the toughest opponents out there for Joshua at the moment (along with Ortiz and Klitschko).

Haye is getting on and I think Hearn will want to wait another 12 months hoping Haye ages more but he still comes from strange angles and does not fight like most heavyweights at the top end. He is a ducker and a diver and Joshua could struggle to pin him down as easy.

By the time the fight is made (if it ever is), then Haye may be starting to slow, but at the moment, I would say Haye.

Then again, I want to see Haye fight a genuine threat after the Briggs fight - a Whyte, a Pulev or a Parker.

Whyte is just a well known measuring stick who could have a similar career to Chisora if he gets into shape. Bettering the result vs Whyte would build a fight with Joshua.

Anyway, Haye gives all the clues away himself. He never mentions Fury as he knows he would have trouble with a big mobile heavy, seeing as though he struggled with the big stiff one. He is also 'chasing' Joshua, as he knows that's winnable.

There are a lot of good fights at HW to be made, just not any decent 'prep' fights. I'd love a HW Super 6. Imagine the PPV money £$£$£$£$

It's not obvious to me at all.

He's fought bums since he's comeback but we won't know whether he is "shot" or not until he starts competing against high level opponents.

Haye. Too quick, athletic and powerful for Joshua. Haye WILL land properly on Joshua and he has the power to get the KO.

Haye has his chance, but for me as soon as he feels a clump on the napper from AJ, even a stiff jab, he'll resort to dancing around the ring and try and nick a points decision. That's if he can even do 12 rounds a decent pace anymore.

I agree here, he's always been incredibly wary when facing someone taller with a bigger reach. Add in Joshua's power, and I think we're set for Haye fannying round the ring trying to avoid getting clumped.
