Didnt just lose. Lost every round to a journeyman clubfighter. There's some solid russian fighters but most of them are like Mago. Slow, straight ahead.

Time for Khytrov and Murata to step up and get tested.

Khytrov is no different. He stinks too. Rudimentary. Slow.

Maybe he at least has a chin to compensate some of that. Also, his movement was much better in amateurs. He can move well but relies too much on his power now. He needs a good trainer.

Looks like he had an off night. He took his opponent for granted, believing he would be an easy win. Arif has looked MUCH better in his other fights.

Magomedov is just age 23. He'll be back.

It looks like he doesn't have a chin. You can't compete on the top level without that.

He couldn't hurt the guy. Got rocked in the 3rd, and then proceeded to lose every round over the 2nd half clearly. If there would've been 30 more seconds in the 10th he probably would've been stopped.

It was definitely his worst performance by a wide margin.

That's what some people said about Muhammed Ali after the first Henry Cooper fight, and about Joe Louis after the first Schmeling fight.

Huge difference here - Cooper was a good fighter with seriuos power and Shmeling was a very, very good fighter with serious power. Hernandez is an average fighter (at most) with no power.

Aren't all Eastern European fighters superior? :stop:

Ahh, I smell a bit of schadenfruede! Yes they are superior, for the time being. A single loss by a single Eastern European doesn't change that.

Yes, a little bit of fun. If you look at boxrec's top 20 P4P there are a lot of American flags there. Not that I necessarily agree with the list verbatim. I think GGG is the best fighter today actually.
