You're taking my words OUT of the CONTEXT I PUT them in... Roy was difficult to hit compared to the average fighter. But Roy was TOO EASY to hit to be considered the BEST BOXER "WE" ever saw.. I thought Antonio Tarver was harder to hit with a clean shot than Roy - though he was decked a couple times.. Tarver is older than Roy.. He was 2 inches taller and his left hands came in at tricky angles for Roy.. That's a very good test of boxing skills.. Tarver lit Roy up with left hands in their first fight - but I don't think Roy was real good for that fight.. Roy looked a lot sharper in their rematch, but Tarver lined him up perfectly.. I don't think you do that with Floyd Mayweather, Vasyl Lomachenko, Willie Pep before his plane crash, and some others boxers in history.. Roy was good but he's destroying his legacy. He should have quit after the Tarver and Johnson fights.. I don't get what Roy's trying to do because he can't box at a decent level anymore. It's kind of creepy. I hope he doesn't end up like Ali.

Roy harder to hit than Tarver?

Roy's been shot for the last 13 years. The move back down to Light Heavyweight after the Ruiz fight took something out of him that he never got back.

Tarver is a LOT harder to hit.. You can always come up with excuses... Tarver also hurt himself coming down in weight too fast.. Tarver played a Heavyweight Champ in Appalling Greed XXVII or some movie like that.. He went up to 220 for the role and came down too fast to 175 for the Hopkins fight.. He was horrible for that fight and maybe that effected him ever since. He's completely shot too. There both mid 40's the idiots.

Tarver is older than Roy and how many times has Tarver been knocked out??? ZERO TIMES!!! How many times has Roy been knocked out??? FIVE (5) TIMES!!! There's your answer. Tarver KO’d former Heavyweight Contender Jonathan Banks and drew with former Cruiserweight Champ Steve Cunningham in his last 2 fights.. Roy fought a guy making his pro debut in his last fight and tried former Cruiserweight Champ Enzo Maccarinelli before that... You know what happened there.

Is Roy The best boxer i ever saw ? No way Jose. He has to many flaws. He is the most Athletically gifted fighter though. Floyd is th the best all around fighter i have seen in terms of Offense, Defense and Ring Generalship. We never seen Floyd Take a beating, not even close to 40 yrs old and over the hill

Having a better chin than a guy doesn't mean you have better defense. Tarver can definitely take a better shot than Roy, but he gets with more of 'em.

Rigondeaux is the only fighter on the list I'd have Roy rated over.

roy had like 50 fights before getting kod, before that he also never took a beating.

augustus bruised floyd, castillo and maidana at time put a beating on him.

i mean if you run like floyd or lara it is obvious that you dont get hit a lot, also avoiding prime tszyu, prime paccquiao, prime margarito or prime williams helps, cherry picking helps.
