This is a VERY intriguing matchup... the first fight was close and Ruenroeng had a favorable ref and judges imo... Some of the Ruenroeng KDs were ruled slips and Ruenroeng probably should've been deducted a Pt or Two for dirty tactics... Interesting because this time it's on neutral ground.

I still think the outcome depends on which gameplan Ruenroeng will use. Last time ruenroeng imo fought Casimero's fight... and won by a thin margin. IMO this time he needs to fight his fight... which means lots of mobilty and straight punch attacks from distance, away from most of the dangerous awkward punch arsenal Casimero has. And Ruenroeng has to make sure he keeps enough stamina and legs to move for 12 because Casimero always keeps enough pop to makes things happen late.

If Ruenroeng can't resist the urge to fight his opponent's fight like he does often... he could be in trouble... he can be dropped and Casimero can bully and hit.

my point being it's not in Thailand or Philippines. Ruenroeng was down before in China vs Zhong and still got the nod. I think Casimero's chances of getting the nod in a close fight in China are better than in Thailand.

I fancy Ruenroeng to win a close controversial points decision.

They like him in China. I'm still shocked they gave him the Shimming decision there.

Firstly both guys were over weight-

Then this-
The IBF has announced that both IBF flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng and John Riel Casimero weighed in at 112 pounds on the nose, so the world title fight is on! Here is the explanation from IBF President Daryl Peoples:

“The Great Wall weigh-in was supposed to be a mock weigh-in with Mike Tyson there as an attraction. The ‘real’ weigh-ins were supposed to be at the hotel. The press was supposed to be told about this but wasn’t. Both fighters were weighed-in at the hotel and were on the money.”

Ruenroeng did well to shed 5 pounds so quickly.

Can't be good in the long run.

Everyone tipping Ruenroeng but this is as close as a 50/50 as your going to get.

It will go the distance and styles will clash meaning it will end up close and controversial.

just seen this fight now.Ruenroeng up to his usual tricks with the wrestling and falling over.Casimero was 10 times better than he was in the first fight, probably down to Weeks being in there rather than Dogett they had last time. There will probably be a third fight now who knows where. When Ruenroeng is on it hes fornicating decent when he sticks to the boxing his jab is good his movement and footwork are ok theres no need for the bs from him.its laughable at times.

I thought Ruenroeng won the first 3 rounds but every round was competitive. Both fighters were quite wild for small guys who are usually technically sound. In that 4th round Amnet Ruenroeng threw a very nice straight right hand and tried to follow it up with a left hook but Casimero beat him to it and landed a huge left hook upstairs, right on the button :KO: , that dropped Ruenroeng. I didn't think he was going to be able to get up from that monster shot. But he did and he seemed to have his legs back under him until he got caught with another left, this time downstairs, a nasty shot to the liver and that was it :stop: . A lot of wrestling in this bout also; I read it was similar to their first fight in that regard.

Maybe Casimero could be an opponent for Chocolatito if the Estrada rematch doesn't happen for some reason?
