That's the point. I'm not sure if people are just grasping at straws to support Canelo's excuses.

Boxing has weight divisions for a reason. Lara has never fought at MW so that disqualifies him until he does. Canelo is a MW but has never fought a MW either he may have fought very good smaller fighters but they can't be compared to GGG's MW opponents.

Roman Gonzalez is better than anyone Canelo has beaten so if GGG fights and beats him does that mean that Canelo has to earn his shot by beating a better P4P boxer?

If Angulo can put Lara down hard twice is it so much of a stretch to imagine Golovkin somehow managing to do the same at a heavier weight?

Hahaha

Yes willie monroe, wade, ishida, macklin, rubio, lemuix, moroccon bum.

Are all better than Lara, Floyd, Cotto, shiit even lil khan is better and Angulo are more accomplished than the bums ggg has faced.
The Lemieux "bum" would beat a crap out of Angulo, Lara, Cotto and Khan. Murray would beat Angulo, Cotto and Khan. Monroe, Wade, Ishida, Macklin and Rubio would all beat Khan and have good chances against Angulo and Cotto.
Wow i honestly don't know what to say to such stupid idiotic post.

You GGG jiizzboys are just on another level.

Funny you mentioned balls when your man crush Golovkin has faced nothing but bums and is ducking Lara.

Yet the guy you called "chicken" has faced waaaaay better comp than GGG pretty funny if you ask me.

But chickenelo won't fight GGG because he's infected with yellow fever, he is the worst kind of ducker, fights smaller opponents constantly then after KOing King China khan mouths off how he will fight GGG AT 160 no problem at all, then when negotiations start he plays hot potato with the belt and throws it straight to GGG, you can come up with lame excuses all you want, it's as plain as the nose on my face that it's up there with the worst ducks in boxing history

GGG resume doesn't stack up to Canelo's overall, but that has no bearing on Canelo giving up his belt. A champion defends his belt, the belt he trained a lifetime to get. There is the possibility Canelo just wants to keep the leverage and is confident enough he could drop the belt and win it back, but I doubt it.This is a clear cut case of GBP not wanting to take the risk GGG obviously poses in the ring. He has the ability not just to beat but to ruin guys.

That is typical for cowards. They like to bully weaker guys, but when confronted by a stronger guy, they pee their pants which is exactly what happened with the chicken. If he wasn't afraid, then nobody including Oscar would be able to persuade him to do something which no Mexican star would even consider to do.

And you come on here pretty much just to whine like a baby about how overrated GGG is, how he's ducking fighters, and how anyone who disagrees with you about him is being unreasonable....you're just as bad as the 'jiizzboys' little guy. By the way, it's pretty funny that you think GGG is ducking a guy from a lower division who couldn't beat Carlos Molina, got put on his ass twice by no skill Angulo, and needed two tries just to get an unconvincing win over Vanes.

Why don't you make another thread about how Cotto would school him.

I didn't watch the vid, but LOL at most of those comments. YouTube really brings out the dummies, and a certain demographic of them seems to constantly rag of GGG.

Lara vs Vanes card which included 3 more title fights got under 500k views. The Cuban has a negative drawing power !

Since Jacobs was mentioned and I don't want to start another thread......it seems like he may rematch Sergio Mora in August, which would rule him out as GGG's next opponent unless Gennady's activity slows.

If Golovkin vs Canelo doesn't get made (which is very likely), then doesn't Jacobs have to fight GGG ? I don't think getting Mora out of the way would be a problem if Haymon wanted it.

Anyway, I would prefer Golovkin to fight Saunders and get the unification over with.
