I'm always glad to have boxing on freeview, rather than divvy Pay-Per-Views on Sky. However, I wish Dave would put proper boxing on and not Haye knocking out nobodies in front of his wanky celebrity mates.
Mourinho was there apparently...
Haye earnt £1 million from last night's fight

To be fair, though I'm not disagreeing with your point, Fury does himself no favours with some of his chat. Always going off on one about how women belong in the kitchen, how homosexuals are evil other that other stuff he says. It aint going to make him the most popular person with the masses.Naandrew wrote:For me logic says Haye should be irrelevant. We have got THE heavyweight champion of the world now.
Haye to me is known for bottling it against Wlad and blaming his toe where as Fury goes in and dominates Wlad and Haye is still more popular.
The people that bought tickets to that crap on Saturday really have no clue

£1 million?
I wouldn't be too sure about that, not from a free-to-air TV station. I can't see it. I know he made 500 grand from the gate, but does anyone really think that an obscure freeview channel like that can just hand Haye the other 500 grand for allow them the privilege to have cameras at his fight?
No, I don't think that he has made that much from last weekend. But that's only my take of it.

Well who knows what the viewing figures were, It would be a bit mad of Dave to be giving him much of advertising revenue though, who got the other half of the gate?Crease wrote:£1 million?

They might give him a percentage of ad revenue instead of handing him a large lump sum instead.
Less risky that way.

Oh I agree to n that Fury has done himself no favours but he talked the talk and walked the walk. Where as Haye talked the talk then bottled it.ILikeBeer wrote:To be fair, though I'm not disagreeing with your point, Fury does himself no favours with some of his chat.
