He'll beat Chisora. I don't know what other top fighters he could beat, but he'll be able to beat Chisora.

However, that's a street fight scenario, in a boxing ring, it may be a different story.

I dont think Whyte looked intimitated.

Chisora is a pantomime actor everyone saw what happened when he tried to "street" fight David Haye.

Whyte is a former K1 & MMA fighter Derek would last about 30 seconds if it was a street fight.
Well, those forms of fighting are still in a sport, I stand by what I saw.

However, I still expect Whyte to win.

I reckon stoppage in rounds 9-12 for whoever comes in the best shape.
at this stage ill risk it and say whyte even though hes not beaten this calibre of oppo before.
would have said del if he had been victorious in his last fight.

Other than Helenius they've been wrong every time.
Whyte not done anything more than opponents Chisora has beaten, and not nearly as much as anyone that's beaten him.

That's true, but he's younger and has taken less beatings than Chisora. At the very least his performance against Anthony Joshua rivals Chisora's best efforts that I've seen.

Getting knocked out by Joshua isn't as impressive as going the distance with Vitali Klitchsko, or knocking out Malik Scott.

Malik Scott ain't sh*t. The Wilder fight showed us that. I thought Whyte's performance against Joshua was more impressive than Chisora's against Vitali, but I won't keep arguing about why I think Whyte could be superior. I could be wrong. It's an interesting matchup.

I just never expect "Loser to the Stars" to beat anybody of note. I'd like to see Chisora vs Arreola some time just for the hell of it. Just to see if Chisora is at least able to beat him. I think he would be.

My money would be on Whyte but Chisora would certainly be the best win on his record.

I'd really like to see this fight.

If whyte beats chisora, does it give joshua more credibility for knocking whyte into the middle of this year??

Really?! Vitali was probably the most menacing heavyweight since Mike Tyson. It took tremendous balls to go from European level straight to him, and give him hell in the process. For all his faults, Dereck deserves a lot of credit for his showing in that fight. If Joshua goes into greater things, then maybe the history books will be kinder to Whyte's performance.

I think Whyte beats Del too, by the way. But I don't think it'll be as one sided as, say, the Pulev fight. Whyte's kinda raw and sloppy. Dereck always fights the same and had less power, but he's a better boxer I think.

Chisora found his level a long time ago, his best night was probably a fight where he clearly lost to Vitali, but made him work. Vitali by then was definitely in decline, and not quite so fearsome, definitely agree about him being intimidating, can't imagine Vitali being scared of any heavyweight in history - absolutely ice cold.

Whyte may yet improve, Chisora is what he is, the fight will show if Whyte has any potential.

Dream fight to trade on the markets because nobody really knows who should be the favourite.

DelBoy seems well past it but he's boxed at a much higher level.

Whyte has power but we've only seen him against relatively mediocre opposition. Buzzin AJ with one left hook doesn't necessarily mean he has the power to get rid of a grizzled veteran like Del

If I had to choose, I'd say Chisora points. Conditioning doesn't look to be Whyte's strong point and with his shoulder injury factored into the equation I can see Del nullifying Whyte's early attacks and old manning him in the 2nd half of the fight.

The IFL "confrontation" was a poor effort really. Neither of them seemed like they could be arsed with it.

Before the Pulev fight I would have marginally favoured Chisora, but he took a fairly steady and systematic beating in that fight, not sure he'll be quite the same fighter in the future.

That could tip the balance in Whyte's favour?
