Pricey's weight
Pricey's weight
They announced him as being 273lbs at the weigh in i.e. 19st 6lbs. Mistake or not?

Re: Pricey's weight
He pretty much looked a near 20 stone lump at the weigh-in to me, so wouldn't be at all surprised if it was correct.

Im 47, been fighting all my life.
Life isnt full of sunshine and rainbows, its a mean and nasty place. If you have time on your hand ill tell you a little about life, death and the fcuking nasty bits in the middle.
Im not a professional sportsmans, but im allowed to have an opinion, I live in a country of free speech. Its as simple as that. If this was North Korea we wouldnt be having this conversation.
I will not be allowed to say Newcastle FC are chit because some bright spark will reply. How many goals have you scored Mimmy???

Big difference between 'having an opinion' and just being downright spiteful and negative, Price has had 23 pro fights and won three titles, what do you do ... oh that's right you post videos of fights.mimmy123 wrote:I'm allowed to have an opinion

What do you mean show respect, ive said before Price is better than Fury, Fury is the world heavyweight champion.Cyril Henry Hoskin wrote:Big difference between 'having an opinion' and just being downright spiteful and negative, Price has had 23 pro fights and won three titles, what do you do ... oh that's right you post videos of fights.mimmy123 wrote:I'm allowed to have an opinion

No I dont just post videos. I have an opinion and im not being spiteful. I could have said far worse. This is a boxing forum, you need to read some of the things that have been said previously in other threads. I only indicated that once Price got knocked out in round 1, which did not happen he would be 1 stone lighter. Chill out.

Price is still one of my favorites to watch; the combo of big power and fragility always go far in that respect.

Re: Pricey's weight
If price can just get some balls im sure he will do ok. The issue is where is he going to go. British title is fav, as the others are all chasing world title dreams. So price can win a British title. I just dont see him going further than that because when he steps up and fights a name he seems to freeze, maybe the occasion gets to him. If he could just block that out and concentrate on defence and hitting the other guy I can see him going further. I just dont think he can block the big occasion out though.crusader wrote:Price is still one of my favorites to watch; the combo of big power and fragility always go far in that respect.

I think Coldwell actually said "He's really big like a moo"jameswilson wrote:Dave Coldwell said in an interview during the week he was really big at the mo.

Re: Pricey's weight
Criticism is one thing but to imply that a fighter is a coward (I assume 'chit himself' is a euphemism for cowardice?) is disgusting, after that horrible KO loss he suffered against drug cheat Teper I think it says a lot about his bravery that he's back in the ring again.davie wrote:Best response I've read to that utterly tedious and pointless argument.

As for MImmy who you seem to hold in such high esteem Davie, have a peep in the Lounge where you will find his thread about 'Homemade Sausage Rolls' complete with a picture of said sausage rolls and his vibrator.
He's either an idiot, drunk .. or both.

The video of him weighing in, is in one of the Bellew threads.lillywhite14 wrote:How big did Price look? Has he bulked up?

He looked a bit fleshy, a bit like Kym Marsh when Nigel told her to lose some weight. Not fat but you could understand his reasoning.lillywhite14 wrote:How big did Price look? Has he bulked up?
