Rances Barthelemy & Mickey Bey talk about their 6/3 fight

I actually had Bey winning 115-112 so the 117-110 card in his favour probably isnt as bad as most think(IMHO obviously) it was competitive in every round but it was also a terrbile contest with neither guy landing much clean,the KD was harsh on Barthelemy,horrible headclash,lucky he wasnt too badly stunned,every round was tough to score and i wasnt that confident with my scoring TBH i just preferred Mickey's workrate as no guy was taking the fight by the scruff of the neck,my card was identical to Farhood's after 8 then i had Bey pulling away

No way im crying robbery though it was a tight one and you really had to pick what you prefer and i didnt think much of Barthelemy's workrate or skills,i expected him to make fairly easy work of Bey

Bey was mostly hitting gloves though. Percentage of shots landed was heavily in Rances favor.

I was certain before the fight Rances was so much better. I was wrong Bey was better than I thought. For me right now I thought these may have been the two top lightweights with Flanagan-Crolla right there

Bey is ok. The division is crap tho. Very weak.

Just watching this, decent fight. Barthelemy needs to fight his height, and slaps too much.
