I wanted to believe Gatti could beat Mayweather. It was all but a dream.

"I told my girlfriend that if Oquendo beats Etienne, I'll become Gay. I reneged on my promise."
your girlfriend must have been disappointed. She figured it would cause the breakup she'd be hoping for without having to break up with you herself.

Well, like just about everyone I made a dozen excuses for Tyson losing to Holyfield and predicted he would shake off the ring rust and win by brutal k.o.
Then the bite happened.
I picked provodnikov to weather the storm and knock out mathyse late. Did not expect a ln actual boxing match, I honestly thought one of them would die.
Thought cotto would win a unanimous decision or late round stoppage over Alvarez but they both decided to play a cautious chess match. I bought into the hype after the Martinez fight and expected cotto to batter ginger head and teach him a boxing lesson.
Expected Bradley to easily decision pacquiao in both rematches. 2nd fight Bradley didn't lose, he beat himself fighting like a madman and burning up his gas by the 9th. Third fight I thought pac was completely shot and would embarrass himself but he had it in him for one more good performance.
I actually thought maidana would be the first man to beat mayweather in the rematch, but Robert Garcia made a horrible tactical error in encouraging maidana to try and outbox floyd. If it ain't broke don't fix it. He should have did exactly what he did last time to the tenth power.
