& you're not getting his point. All he was saying is that he (ilikebeer) is stupid, so by your lights he's a "very clever man".

Self-deprecating humour, mush; he's not commenting on Tyson at all.

Maybe mickey1975 is just pretending not to understand the joke.

Thus proving he is, indeed, a very clever man.

Such self-reflexive labyrinths of recursive hilarity are what makes Boxrec worthwhile.

I would like to add--in the interests of full disclosure--I am also too stupid to understand it, I just like randomly repeating stuff at inappropriate moments.

Sorry, I've got a bit confused now.

Are you saying I'm too stupid to understand the word, thus I am clever enough to understand it?

Is the fact that I am a bit confused on this issue mean that I understand it perfectly?

Maybe you have to be the Heavyweight Champion Of The World for it to all make sense.

Wladamir really isn't coming across very well this time around, trying to smile, saying stupid stuff like he is enjoying being the challenger etc. Fury is just sitting there being honest and it looks like Wlad just doesn't know how to be himself at all.

Funnily enough I met up with a mate recently and his misses is Swiss-German. I was telling them how I had tickets for the fight and we were explaining to her who Fury and Wladamir were and suddenly she clicked that he was a klitschko brother and started going on about how huge they are in Germany and how funny and quirky they are, how silly and loveable. She was really smiling when talking about him. She couldn't believe it when I told her that it doesn't translate at all and they get called boring and that they're robots and stuff.

lets face it germanic nations are not (stereotyping here apologies but tis true) known for their humour factor. Having said that they do have other excellent qualities.
And the Yanks think the British are humourless snobs with bad teeth and worse food.

And by British they think English.

If this turns out to be one big mind game from Fury it'll be up there with "the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn't exist" and this....
