What about Wilt Chamberlain? :KO:

Usain Bolt is a modern equivalent of Ali in some ways: he's dominant, charismatic & transcends his sport.

Sprinting doesn't require the same about of courage obviously, and there doesn't seem to be a political cause that Bolt can champion to put him on the same pedastal as Ali.

Ali got by on being Ali for the last 10 years, got a few iffy decisions (Norton beat him at least twice), but he was good for boxing.
