His defining fight was RJJ. When you beat a legend, you become a legend :bag:

His ability to take a shot did diminish (even further) toward the end. He was clearly shook by a couple jabs on Friday. Do you think that's down to age, or do brutal KOs, and Enzos had some horrible ones, take a little bit more from you each time?

He has had a smashing career. Not got a chin but to be fair he always seems to get caught with highlight reel punches! Smashing guy and was a cracking fighter. I thought his fight against Braithwaite was a real class showing. I'm glad he's now decided to pack it in.

I always liked Enzo. He was in some cracking fights and won a fair few of them. Best of luck to him. I understand why the first poster said - where did it all go wrong - but I don't agree with it. I think he had a good career

One bad knockout can make you more susceptible to another, as I understand it.

I agree he does tend to get caught with sledgehammering punches, its not as if he was getting KO'd by shots like the right hand that Thompson done Price with in their 1st fight, they look shots that would KO a horse and despite being KO'd many times he still doesnt know how to react when getting wobbled, always tries to trade instead of tying up or back peddling and always jumps back up instead of taking a mandatory 8 count

He's always carried his head very high which is why he gets caught with such huge shots.

Same with Khan, its the 'Kid carrying his toffee apple back from the fairground" defence.

To be fair, I've no idea what Khan is like in real life, but certainly he comes across as a bit of a tool.

Khan does more for charity, here and in Pakistan, than any boxer.

That's what I'm trying to say, his public persona is kind of annoying, however, that doesn't mean away from the cameras that he isn't a good bloke.

Apart from being a great way to generate free publicity (and therefore money) as well as reducing tax liabilities these charities are not all what they seem.

I was reading last week about the Mo Farah foundation which had been wound up before it had actually distributed any money to any charitable causes - I forget the exact figures but it was something like the charity raised £1m but they spent over £900k on "fundraising" costs - no doubt paying friends and family members for their work.

I am not saying that Khan does the same, however these things aren't as simple as "he does a lot for charity".

Charities are usually very inefficient - though only having 10% left after fundraising activities is particularly bad.

Even a monster like Oxfam manages 25%, or at least did last time I looked.

Just double checked and my figures were way out - the charity had an income of £250k and costs of £180k
