No one said Maussa was better than Gatti. My point was that Mayweather beat up on a helpless Gatti and proclaimed himself the man in the division and didn't even stick around to defend his title when beating Gatti did not make you the man beating Tzsyu did and beating Baldomir at 147 would, not Judah. The Maussa fight wasn't ideal but considering that the Mayweather fight was a no go at the time and pretty much anyone else of name stature was tied up at the time, it was a good keeping busy fight while helping to unify division at the same time. He also did a better job on Maussa than Cotto did.

I also think you heavily over rate Corley. All of Corleys wins came against bums worse than what Hatton fought and the 3 times he stepped up against Judah, Mayweather and Cotto he got beat and Cotto stopped him in 5 while Floyd was taken the distance by him. The Tszyu Hatton fought would of beaten Corley handily and most likely stopped him, it would be an insult to such a great fighter to say otherwise, you under estimate Tszyu as much as you over estimate Corley based on Hatton beating him.

As far as you quoting my previous comments in the thread, they still hold up. If Hatton beats Baldomir in his next fight he will of been the man in 2 different divisions FACT. Mayweather was not the man at 140 even though he wanted everyone to believe and by beating up on Judah he won't be the man at 147, he backed out of a fight with Baldomir claiming Baldomir was demanding millions, how is a guy who made 150k in his last fight going to be demanding millions? This "millions" barrier doesn't seem to stop Hatton negotiating with him, Floyd would be fighting Judah now even if he got knocked out in the first round.

Hatton has only fought 2 fighters coming off the back of a loss in his last 20 fights. Floyd will move to 3 in his last 20 with his fight against Judah since you decided to argue that point.

As far as who would have a better chance against Hatton or Mayweather, it's not the point. If you want to be the champ of a division like Floyd keeps proclaiming he is then you beat the champ, you don't beat the man who got beat by the champ.
Mayweather wanted the Hatton fight in Madison Square gardens AFTER Hatton beat Tszyu. ANYTIME after that. Hatton is the one who CHOSE to fight Maussa and now is saying he needs 2 WARM UP FIGHTS before fighting floyd. So what can PBF do to fight Hatton? he can't make him fight him if he doesn't want to and that is obviously the case when hatton says, "I NEED TWO WARM UP FIGHTS". The "champion of the division" needs "two warm up fights" to fight another "contender". :TU:

We can argue about Corley and Tszyu all day, something I don't wish to do. Tszyu was 35, coming off a SERIOUS injury and 3 rounds in 2 years. NOT THE SAME FIGHTER AS BEFORE. Fact. If Corley could stay out of trouble, he would have a pretty good chance in my opinion. He almost had Cotto out and wobbled PBF. He only lost an SD to Judah at 140 pounds. Thats a good record. So he has got a chance there. I'd give him a REAL chance to beat tszyu now.

Your problem is you don't like Floyds ATTITUDE. You are letting that cloud your judgement. You CRITICISED THE ACTUAL GATTI FIGHT, "he fought a human punch bag etc". Then you praised Hatton for "picking up a belt" against Maussa. gatti is BETTER than Maussa and floyd fought him to pick up a belt. now that I have pointed this out, you are backpeddling like a thompsons gazelle and saying you don't like the fact that Floyd proclaimed himself the man of the division. Fair enough he's not "the man of the division" as everybody defines it, but don't criticise the ACTUAL FIGHT because the problem you have is with FLOYDS ARROGANT ATTITUDE of proclaiming himself the best in the division.

You can't criticise a fighter for beating another fighter then praise a fighter for beating a LESSER fighter.

I would rather see Floyd fight Judah myself. I'd rather see Hatton fight Judah. You do realize that Boldomir isn't all that good don't you? have you seen his record? He beat Judah yes, but would you be backing him in a rematch? Do you think he has a better shot at beating Mayweather or hatton than Judah does? See, Floyd would play with Boldomir and easily beat him. Judah has a better chance against Floyd. he's more of a challenge.

How do you know Boldomir didn't price himself out? why would he want to get a hiding from Floyd when he can fight a Gatti or Hatton? I don't expect him to fight Hatton myself because it makes more sense to persue other options.

Regarding this "man of the division" stuff.

you don't like floyd calling himself the man of the division. FINE. But REALIZE that JUDAH is a better fight to take then BOLDOMIR for both hatton and PBF.

Also realize that gatti is BETTER than Maussa and you can't criticise a fighter for fighting one and not criticise a fighter for fighting the other.

I know Gatti is better than Maussa, doesn't make it a good fight for Floyd. He beat up on Gatti and took a title and moved up. Hatton didn't beat Maussa for his first title at 140, he beat Tszyu and unified with Maussa in a fight that if he didn't take he would of been inactive for a lot longer than what was comfortale.

Floyd could of made that fight with Baldomir if he wanted, the negotiations were very short and the Judah fight never seemed to be in doubt of falling through.

Floyd is tied up for 2 fights anyway, by the time Hatton gets through his 2 fights they will both be free to fight and then there will be no excuses unless Junior Witter claims the WBC.

Why didn't he try to make the fight with Floyd when Floyd said he wanted the fight and was available. Why did he fight Maussa instead?

if fighting Gatti isn't good for Floyd, then fighting Maussa is even worse for Hatton.

Floyd was just fighting Gatti "so he didn't remain inactive". is it OK now? Do you take back your criticism?

how do you know he could have made the fight? How do you know Baldomir wanted it? because I don't think he did. Why WOULDN'T Floyd want to fight him? Give me one reason why Floyd wouldn't want to fight baldomir? Easy win, and he's champion of the division. Much easier fight than Judah. Fact is, Baldomir didn't want it. Floyd wants to test himself against Judah, who would have a better chance anyway.

but he wasn't tied up when he challenged hatton after the gatti fight or after Hatton beat tszyu.

So he's moved on and people are actually BLAMING HIM for the fight not happening.
