Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
I just believe Broner is full of himself or maybe be full sh#t,because Adrien Broner never beaten a natural welterweight.Broner also isn't near a top contender for the Danny's WBC title, the top contenders for that title are Amir Khan,Andre Berto,Lamont Peterson,Charles Manyuchi, and Errol Spence. The WBC could also order Danny Garcia to face the winner of the Thurman vs Porter fight as well, then again Broner is clowin around talking about his the next ppv star, when he hardly ever beaten an solid fighter, since the Paulie Malignaggi fight.

Malignaggi was never Elite. He was a good fighter, but not Elite, and Broner deserved no better than a draw against him IMO. Garcia would win a clear decision over Broner.

Yeah your right Paulie isn't a elite fighter but be real he was one of the best opponents Broner has ever beaten,With all jokes aside Paulie has fought & beaten better fighters than Broner did.gilgamesh wrote:Malignaggi was never Elite. Garcia would clearly beat Broner but the WBC shouldn't never allow Broner to fight for that title,Broner has already lost to two top welterweights in the division Marcos Maidana and Shawn Porter an already proven that he can't fight with competitive welterweights at all,he also struggled with a feather puncher like Paulie and that's a fact.gilgamesh wrote:Malignaggi was never Elite. Yes he has. Broner's not Elite either.psychod1986 wrote:Yeah your right Paulie isn't a elite fighter but be real he was one of the best opponents Broner has ever beaten,With all jokes aside Paulie has fought & beaten better fighters than Broner did.gilgamesh wrote:Malignaggi was never Elite. No where in my thread,i ever said Broner was a elite fighter, great skills and fast hands but not elite, please don't put words in mouth, only thing i can really give Broner credit for,is that he can defeat fighters, that he should beat.gilgamesh wrote:Yes he has. If Broner is calling out Garcia, then I assume they have already agreed to fight and are trying to make Broner look like less of an underdog by making it look like he wants the fight. Look like less of an underdog, sell more tickets.
In another thread, I suggested that Danny Garcia has a shot at top 100 all-time if he continues the rate he's been going for 7 more years. Adrian Broner is not a legacy-defining opponent, but if Garcia makes title defenses against Broner-caliber opponents 2-3 times a year for 7-8 years, his legacy would certainly be healthy.

First of all Broner has to prove that he can beat someone, other than average fighters.Defeating guys like Ashley Theophane,Khabib Allakhverdiev,John Molina, and Emanuel Taylor won't ever get him a title shot. The only way see Broner buliding his legacy,is by beating top -notch fighters are anyone that can make a competitive fights with him. Some people don't even look at Broner as a contender, just a regular fighter.
Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
Pressure is what Broner struggles against the most, between that and volume punching. The reality is Garcia is neither. Garcia is a boxer puncher/counter puncher. On paper Garcia is the clear favorite, but this is a close fight IMO. Only thing that makes me lean towards Garcia is his ability to adapt, but style wise Broner has a chance of beating Garcia. I'll be honest I'd love to see this fight and hope Garcia knocks Broner fornicating cold. I agree there are more deserving guys out there to challenge Garcia for his title but I don't feel this is a bad fight at all.

A.B. might have a chance but then again he can't handle pressure, there are more deserving guys other than Broner to fight for that title, because once he get big fights like this he loss, then after he loses,he starts fighting, average fighters & bums all over again.NateJR wrote:Pressure is what Broner struggles against the most, between that and volume punching. A prime Judah vs this version Broner would have made for an interesting fight.
Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
Do you feel he lost to Herrera or Peterson? Gotta ask, Top 100 seems lofty but not impossible. I never said you said Broner is Elite nor did I mean to imply that you had. Broner's not Elite was just my own comment on the discussion.psychod1986 wrote:No where in my thread,i ever said Broner was a elite fighter, great skills and fast hands but not elite, please don't put words in mouth, only thing i can really give Broner credit for,is that he can defeat fighters, that he should beat.gilgamesh wrote:Yes he has. I thought he lost to Herrera, but not Peterson. Both fights were close though.SFW wrote:Do you feel he lost to Herrera or Peterson? Gotta ask, Top 100 seems lofty but not impossible. Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
Well in Broners defense he has shown in both of his losses he has heart. Madaina beat his ass for 10 rounds yet Broner still had the heart to muster up enough to win the last couple rounds. Porter bullied him in a ugly fight yet Broner seemed to be the stronger fighter later on and even knocked Porter down and legitimately hurt Porter like we've never seen him hurt. Aside from them 2 fights he struggled against Malignaggi and De Leon, but I feel he still won those fights in close but clear fashion. Broner isn't a bad opponent for anyone at 147 in my opinion and is due for a big performance and possible upset. He's not not nearly as bad of a opponent as alot of people are playing him out to be, whether he's the most deserving guy for a shot at the title or not.psychod1986 wrote:A.B. might have a chance but then again he can't handle pressure, there are more deserving guys other than Broner to fight for that title, because once he get big fights like this he loss, then after he loses,he starts fighting, average fighters & bums all over again.NateJR wrote:Pressure is what Broner struggles against the most, between that and volume punching. Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
No one is ducking f'n Broner. Easy fight for Danny.
Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
I don't know that it's an easy fight for Danny. Nate was right that Danny doesn't have the style that troubles Broner the most so Broner could definitely have his moments in this fight. I'd still expect Danny to win a UD though with scores of 116-112 or thereabouts, but Broner would have some big moments in the fight and would probably bloody Danny's nose up a bit the way Peterson did.
Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
My only interest is if Danny lands one of those left hooks and lays Broner out.
Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
I wouldn't pick Garcia against: Floyd, Pac, Thurman, Spence, Brook or Crawford but Broner is not a level he loses to. Peterson is better than Broner. A dozen guys are better than Broner around that weight. Postol, Bradley, Vargas, Khan, Porter, Peterson. All these guys named here beat Broner. 13 dudes off the top of my head. And who wouldn't think that?! Paulie arguably beat him. I'd say Maidana beats him again but he's like 250 lbs now.
Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
The build up for this fight will be great, way more entertaining then the fight itself.
Re: Adrien Broner message to Danny Garcia no more ducking lets do it.
To be quite honest I think their styles match up pretty well to produce a exciting fight. Neither of them have been in too many stinkers that I recall.Sids wrote:The build up for this fight will be great, way more entertaining then the fight itself.

how in the world do you guys know that Garcia has a style that wouldn't bother broner? It would clearly be the best fighter he's ever faced. Any elite fighter has a problem style for him. Pun intended.gilgamesh wrote:I don't know that it's an easy fight for Danny. Garcia's skills would bother Broner I figure, and he'd definitely outbox him. I just don't think it'd be smart for Danny to box on the backfoot and counter punch with Broner because Broner seems to freeze up more when he's being attacked. Danny is smart enough that he'd make this adjustment though I figure.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:how in the world do you guys know that Garcia has a style that wouldn't bother broner? He could fight him anyway he wants.
