If VADA actually used the word "adverse" in their report they could be in trouble... That would not be accurate... Because Povetkin was using Meldonium for most of 2015, before it was announced it was going on the banned list in 2016 , you would expect that he might have an allowable trace in one or more of his samples... Therefore the 70 nanograms result would mean he passed -- and wouldn't indicate an "adverse" result.

They may be carefully choosing their words, wanting to smear Povetkin with innuendo - without being libel for defamation. Maybe not successfully.

Around 13:45 lol

That's what you get if you put an amateur against an American "heavyweight champion of the world"

The IAAF (track & field's world governing body) just banned the ENTIRE RUSSIAN TRACK & FIELD TEAM for SYSTEMATIC P.E.D. VIOLATIONS by the Russian track & field federation!!

http://espn.go.com/olympics/story/_/id/ ... de-janeiro
The IAAF upheld its ban on Russia's track and field team for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics on Friday in a landmark decision that punishes the world power for systematic doping.

The Russian sports ministry said it was notified of the decision by track and field's world governing body, which ruled that the country had not done enough to earn reinstatement.

The suspension was imposed in November following a report by a World Anti-Doping Agency commission that alleged state-sponsored cheating, corruption and cover-ups in Russian track and field.

The decision to uphold the ban came in a meeting of the IAAF's ruling council. The IAAF acted on a recommendation by a special task force that has monitored Russia's reform efforts.

The meeting came two days after a new WADA report cited continuing obstruction and violations of drug-testing policies in Russia.

INDIVIDUAL athletes should not be punished for the transgressions of a state. It was INDIVIDUAL RUSSIAN Track & Field athletes who blew the whistle on rogue coaches within the system, some with ties to politicians that led to this action.. They are now being punished along with athletes who chose to take part in cheating by intimidating coaches who are being cleaned out of the system because of the whistle blowers. It doesn't matter who is clean or dirty -- everyone is being punished including the whistle blowers.

This to me makes no sense... If you don't give whistle blowers protection, and you just smear and punish them along with everyone, else you're politically attacking a whole sport, team, and country. They need to individually test athletes to find out who needs to be punished.

Povetkin has never been in Track & Field... He has nothing to do with any sanctions on amateur athletes who want to compete in the Olympic Games... He should not be smeared and splattered with innuendo just because he's a Russian citizen who passed ALL of his PED tests... Many more Americans have failed drug tests than Russian boxers have failed them -- but all you heard on Boxing Websites in regard to PEDs, are attacks on Russia and Russians.
