Now that Ali has passed
Now that Ali has passed
The next person to hint at the notion of Wilt Chamberlain even being competitive with Muhammad Ali, I will come to your house and murder your family .

Oh, give over!
Wilt Chamberlain was extremely tall, athletic, indestructible & would only have needed six months training to beat prime Muhammad Ali.
I read it on this forum somewhere & we both know it's true!

Now you're finally starting to get it...Wilt was the greatest athlete EVER to play in the NBA... Scored 100 points in a game. Grabbed 55 rebounds in a game.. Led the league in minutes played and field goal percentage even though he frequently had to battle 3 or 4 defenders.. He was great at several Track and Field events and at Volleyball besides -- so YES, if he had 6 months to prepare he would have knocked Ali cold.

Ali had his hands and legs full with Antonio Inoki. We are talkin' Chamberlin here..
Re: Now that Ali has passed
Wilt Chamberlain also became a deep sea diver and discovered the Sunken Titanic. It only took him 3 months...THAT'S how tall and athletic he was.Kalan wrote:Now you're finally starting to get it...Wilt was the greatest athlete EVER to play in the NBA... Jokes aside: Just in case people like the murderous minded The End don't get my sarcasm
Ali would've beaten Chamberlain easy as shit. You could've given Chamberlain 3 years to train, and Ali still beats the shit out of him and takes him out whenever he feels like it.
Kalan is the only person in the world retarded enough (or committed to his trolling enough) to say otherwise.

yancey agreed with him. Hard to decipher broughtonrules doubletalk, but he seems to think Chamberlain would have had a chance. Unbelievable how ridiculous some people can be.
Re: Now that Ali has passed
chamberlain would have trained and come in n good condition. so would ali.
ali would have danced around the ring and chamberlain would have chased him. maybe even throwing a few punches which would have missed. by the third or possibly the fourth round wilt would have wilted and ali would have hit him with combinations until the ref would have jumped in or until the man who made his living by running back and forth and dropping a ball in a basket would have crashed to the floor.
there are a lot of scenarios as to just how it would have gone, but they all end with ali winning easily....very easily.

Your life remains inevitable......
Kalan, a new contributor has given the breath of life to the Wilt vs Ali matchup. He says he is a boxing expert, and he does demonstrate clear knowledge of the sport, but his theories on hypotheticals and their outcomes are some of the most diverse we have ever seen here.
Kenny gets an easy KO nod over Joe?
Wilt over Ali, easily?
Armstrong has no chance against Valero.
With his words he makes a good case to those who pay little attention to the sport. And honestly, I like reading his take, because he truly believes it, and it makes me take a second look at some things.
Sort of like a car crash, or a sucker punch forces you to do a double take.

ali over chamberlain, ali would have cut chamberlain to pieces...................
when ali fought quarry in Atlanta in 1970, his jab was awesome, that's all wilt would have seen,
his eyes would have been closed in the early rounds, ali by tko 6th

You say that, but according to the 'experts' on this forum, Ali would not have been able to reach Wilt Chamberlain's head once.L.A. kidd wrote:ali over chamberlain, ali would have cut chamberlain to pieces...................

You see, Wilt was invincible & he would not have got tired at any point & he would not have allowed Ali to one land one single blow on his head all night.
This is a known 'fact'.
