Fred Kassi would suggest Breazeale.marvelous marv wrote:Who wins in a fight, Arreola or Breazeale?

Arreola himself voted for Wilder KOSyntax Error wrote:Who's voted for Arreola by KO?![]()
I would have struggled to pick Arreola by KO when he had some use as a fighter, but now, he's on his way to being finished & that's from a low base in the first place.

TBH I think Arreola putted money on Wilder winning by KO in the early rounds.PredatorHayds wrote:Arreola himself voted for Wilder KOSyntax Error wrote:Who's voted for Arreola by KO?![]()

Probably Breazeale, but it'd be a narrow decision win, and they'd both look like sh*t.marvelous marv wrote:Who wins in a fight, Arreola or Breazeale?
Re: Wilder vs Arreola
Arreola, Breazeale, Martin, and Washington should have a 4 man tourney.
They're lambs to the slaughter against AJ and DW, but against each other they could make for some good fights,

This is an absolute joke lol.
I'm giving up on Wilder. It's clear he has no interest taking on a legitimately ranked top ten opponent. Even by WBC standards
Re: Wilder vs Arreola
Yeah just blatant proof that the rankings can be bought and sold, and nothing will be done about it because nobody gives a sh*t.asdfjkl wrote:The WBC just ranked Arreola rank 9!

Re: Wilder vs Arreola
Arreola reappeared where he was last ranked, six months ago before the suspension. It's quite common these days. Luis Ortiz came off steroid suspension as a mandatory for the WBA belt and so was Fres Oquendo. Lucas Browne will likely be given the same treatment.
Or do you really think there's a WBC conspiracy that was hatched in 2015 and only coming to fruition now...

Re: Wilder vs Arreola
Apparently you missed the fact that he had to find an opponent on a few weeks notice? Arreola isn't a good opponent in a normal situation, but this is different. You need to follow the news a little bit, keep up.pound per pound wrote:asdfjkl wrote:The WBC just ranked Arreola rank 9!

Bryant Jennings, Gerald Washington, or Andy Ruiz Jr weren't available? You don't gotta look too hard to do better than Arreola.Badhusker wrote:Apparently you missed the fact that he had to find an opponent on a few weeks notice? Word. It's not like we are asking Wilder to fight Ortiz or Parker. Arreola is a weak pick.gilgamesh wrote:Bryant Jennings, Gerald Washington, or Andy Ruiz Jr weren't available? I'm rooting for Arreola to expose Wilder for the fraud he is. Why not? A real champion does not keep selecting top 20-40 opponents for title matches. My bad, Arreola isn't even in the top 40 at Box Rec. He's ranked 45th in the world and was down in a NC fight and drew with a journeyman recently.

The Breazeale I've seen recently would have had trouble getting out of the first 2 rounds with Arreola.
What a surprise that Joshua has found himself a chump to bite on.

I do agree somehow that Breazeale has absolutely no reason to be in a top heavyweight fight.
The guy he won against in his last fight was clearly a hell of a lot better for example.

I think heavyweight boxing has pretty much hit an all time low when a title holder defends against a guy who's only won 2 of his last 5 fights. I mean I realize this was a last minute fill in situation, but common.

Jennings? On 4 weeks notice and for a tiny payday? I think not.gilgamesh wrote:Bryant Jennings, Gerald Washington, or Andy Ruiz Jr weren't available? Washington decided against it.
Ruiz is ass and with TR.
As much as Wilder's 'fans' want to pin this on him there was no way they were coming up with anything better with the budget and time frame.
Re: Wilder vs Arreola
Breazeale would can Arreola... Wilder-Arreola is another Al Haymon job... Fight the easiest possible opponents.
