When Naz made Sky's Adam Smith cry like a baby
When Naz made Sky's Adam Smith cry like a baby
Hadn't heard this before but was listening to Boxing Asylum podcast the other day and they referenced it. Think they said it happened in the US and Naz was in a foul mood and let rip into Smith who was taken away sobbing. Anybody else hear this story before?

Yes I remember that incident happening, although can't really remember what Naz said. Didn't know much about Adam Smith at the time so felt sorry for him.

Bad, bad form by Naz. Turned into an arsehole by this stage.

I like the thought of Smith having to be physically helped along sobbing uncontrollably.johnswan1 wrote:Hadn't heard this before but was listening to Boxing Asylum podcast the other day and they referenced it. I don't like Adam Smith whatsoever but I don't like the thought of a grown man being reduced to tears either because he is scared of losing his livelihood.
If he was on 3 pound 80 an hour, he would have just told naz to fornicate off and to stick the threat of losing his job up his ass.

I can't imagine it being anything else... I don't know but... Adam Smith has probably had all that 'emotional toughening up' BS at the public school he went to... I can imagine he is a hard person to reduce to tears.Counter-puncher wrote:is that why he was allegedly reduced to tears?Fat Git wrote:I don't like Adam Smith whatsoever but I don't like the thought of a grown man being reduced to tears either because he is scared of losing his livelihood.

All that buggering at public school by ones betters made him the man he is today. A wank.

I like Smith or "Bonecrusher" as he's known from those who know him well, none would dare call him it to his face though because he's worked tirelessly to fabricate the public schoolboy persona, mark my words ive heard it from reliable sources that Adam has never cried and it was actually HE who made Naz cry but switched it around to ruin Hamed's career, sky rocketing his own career in the process,Naz has been trying since his superb win over Calvo to get back in the ring but Smith has seen to it that he will never be allowed to set foot in a ring ever again and no one dare upset Adam,in turn Naz without his livlehood has turned into a recluse staying well far away in his country mansion surrounded by 35 top former SAS soldiers, cowering away in constant fear of the Bonecrusher
Shame really as Naz couldve been one of the greats but Smith is just a thug and a bully who pulls the strings of all things boxing in this country and under no circumstances does he EVER forgive

Naz is an asshole....
Then again, some on here think it was funny that he nearly killed that guy in that car smash.....they were gutted when he went to jail for an 'accident'.
Talk about a personality cult.

I can't believe this story. Adam 'left hook' Smith would've put Hamed to sleep if he'd been that insolent.
He might even have faked with his famous left hook and then banged in the big right hand.

Naz used to have ago at his critics. Seen him verbally lay into Darke and I believe Watt - or was McCrory there - after one of his fights broadcast of Sky Sports. The team did look a bit shell shocked.
Nasty little bugger, all that ego, arrogance and confidence all rolled up, that allowed him to hit the heights he hit but also saw him get humbled or some would say comeuppance.
Froch has done the same as well when Watt criticised his poor technique and "totally irresponsible" defence.

Good on Froch for that one! Watt needs to retire

I also remember Naz going mad at Colin Hart in a press conference for some reason.Autobarn wrote:Naz used to have ago at his critics. Seen him verbally lay into Darke and I believe Watt - or was McCrory there - after one of his fights broadcast of Sky Sports. The team did look a bit shell shocked.

I like Watt - for all his flaws - but I can't blame Froch for being annoyed at him. That first fight with Groves was so biased it was untrue. Ignored every punch that Froch landed.Rexob wrote:Autobarn wrote:Naz used to have ago at his critics. Re: When Naz made Sky's Adam Smith cry like a baby
I was a big fan of Naz growing up and it's because of him and Eubank/Benn that I started boxing. This however is poor form. Doesn't matter what your personal feelings towards Adam Smith are, this (if true) is Liberty taking in its purest form and shows Naz to be a spiteful little bully. Anyone who's impressed with that kind of behaviour needs to have a word with themselves!

Apparently the original idea for Prizefighter was for 8 pro boxers to each have a 3 round fight with Adam 'Light Out' Smith. The winner was who lasted longer ( everyone knew they couldn't go the distance)
Got scrapped on health and safety grounds.

Naz's accent always reminded me of The Flumps.
Having a Flump shout a you is enough to reduce anyone to tears.
