Anthony Joshua only fighting 3 times a year

why is Anthony Joshua only fighting 3 times a year? he should atleast fight 4 times a year.. i think its a waist of talent because he is still young and he still needs to learn.. especially because he hardly broke a sweat in every fight so no injuries or whatever..

He could fight guys like Martin and Brezeale 4 times a year but as the competition gets harder then training and rest becomes more of a factor. Obviously depends how the previous fight has went. Sky can't ask punters for 4 plus PPVs a year as much as they'd like to. Folk are already getting pissed off. That must play a part. After this defence then it has to get more difficult for him.

I'm sure Brezeale is full of ambition but unless he has something special up his sleeve then this PPV will be a major let down. It's sad when you're a Brit fight fan and you're semi hoping for an upset against your own man just so you get your monies worth!

Agreed, AJ is is prime physical condition and he's knocking guys out early. The best way to learn is through experience - and he'll only get that by fighting.

they cant afford to pay him to fight 4 times a year. any fight now is ppv and ppv shows take time to build.

Should never have gone PPV so early, the Breazele types of fights would fit nicely on SKY Sports as a better than usual Saturday night fight and when he steps up in a fight that can be hyped put that on PPV with a stacked undercard.

It's not doing him any favours in the long run as he will learn zilch from knocking over the likes of Martin and Breazele without breaking sweat.
