As long as Eubank fights GGG I'll respect him more than Canelo, but he'll get his ass kicked. Better to fight a tough opponent and lose though than prove yourself a coward and kill your credibility among fans.

GGG is the real deal.....cleaning up the division requires not only ability in the ring, but the ability out of the ring to make fights with the other top guys, some of whom may do all they can to avoid a fight.

If Eubank were to start looking in GGG's class I doubt that Canelo's side would want to fight him.

The long-awaited fight between Canelo Alvarez, the linear middleweight champion, and unbeaten WBA/WBC/IBF champion Gennady Golovkin has been agreed upon by both sides – though you're going to have to wait to see it.

Sources confirmed to Yahoo Sports on Wednesday that Alvarez and Golovkin will meet in September 2017.

The agreement was reached in a meeting in Los Angeles between Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya and K2 Promotions' Tom Loeffler. De La Hoya promotes Alvarez and Loeffler promotes Golovkin.

De La Hoya and Loeffler came to a handshake deal Wednesday in which they agreed to put off the long-awaited bout for 15 months.

That, a source said to Yahoo Sports, will allow Alvarez to get comfortable fighting as a fully fledged middleweight and to help Golovkin build his name.

The Middleweight Champ is Golovkin. Canelo's "Lineal" title don't mean sh*t now.

People pilloried me for saying the only agreement with Canelo/GGG last year was to not fight. "September 2017 is the earliest realistic date" LMAO. Y'all can't read. Handshake deal means literally nothing.

Looks like he's back at 154.

Canelo-Smith is looking like it's close to being agreed and as far as I'm aware no weight stipulations.

if Canelo going to fight against Liam Smith in september, when Charlos, Andrade and Jacobs are around ....im done with him. And he was my favorite fighter until now. As much as like Oscar when he was boxer i think he is total b*tch as a promoter. canelo is fun to watch and i believe he definitely want fight GGG as soon as possible, but all this shit and money arround, im sick of that. If he is going to fight Smith, fans will eat him alive, especially when he going to fight another bum in may.
