I already wonder what the Arreola fans are going to sing.

Chris is on fire, Deontay is terrified, Chris is on fire.

You are very close to being the dumbest motherfucker on this forum. Definitely one of the top idiot trolls.
Gratz with your first place, do you actually recognise the song or are you an American?

Apparently you missed the fact that he had to find an opponent on a few weeks notice? Arreola isn't a good opponent in a normal situation, but this is different. You need to follow the news a little bit, keep up.
Bryant Jennings, Gerald Washington, or Andy Ruiz Jr weren't available? You don't gotta look too hard to do better than Arreola.
Word. It's not like we are asking Wilder to fight Ortiz or Parker. Arreola is a weak pick.

I'm rooting for Arreola to expose Wilder for the fraud he is. Why not? A real champion does not keep selecting top 20-40 opponents for title matches. My bad, Arreola isn't even in the top 40 at Box Rec. He's ranked 45th in the world and was down in a NC fight and drew with a journeyman recently.
We, as dumb ass fans, don't know the inside story about who was available and who would take the fight on such short notice? You can throw out any name you want to sound smart, but the fact is that some won't take it on short notice, and who knows what money they are offering. I'm sorry, but some of you guys are such fornicating idiots. Criticize without knowing even half of the facts. :brick:

I'm giving up on Wilder. It's clear he has no interest taking on a legitimately ranked top ten opponent. Even by WBC standards

Can you say for a fact that the guys you mentioned were offered and accepted the fight? Do you know what kind of money they were offered? Did they turn the fight down?

I don't figure they were offered the fight. Wilder was happy to reach for the low hanging fruit I'm sure. He has no interest in testing himself.

You just act like such bullshit is going on, but in fact even Shannon Briggs fighting for free was even not good enough and too risky for Wilder and his team.

Breazeale beats Arreola every day.. All day.. It doesn't mean he isn't a crude oaf. He's more oafish than Arreola. He'd do it the way he did Mansour, by taking some vicious hits and swing big until he starts hitting something.. A guy who's 17-0, even if he only had 20 amateur fights, should begin to look like something. His stance and movement should be better and his punches should have greater range, with less effort, and be a be sharper. AJ is way ahead of his experience and Breazeale is way behind.

Washington was talked too, your other suggestions make no sense. You're trying to ruin poor Jennings.

Jennings? On 4 weeks notice and for a tiny payday? I think not.

Washington decided against it.

Ruiz is ass and with TR.

As much as Wilder's 'fans' want to pin this on him there was no way they were coming up with anything better with the budget and time frame.
Got a feeling Washington wanted the fight.

He finished a family holiday early and started training just in case the call came.

I would have preferred that fight. I don't blog anymore so I frankly can't be bothered to dig deep for news, I just know there were discussions. Not sure where it went wrong,I heard it was Gerald(could have just been Al) not really a smart move for Washington though it has to be tempting with Wilder's limitations.

He finished his holiday and started training. He made it known that if the call came he'd be ready.

You'd presume the call never came or negotiations between camps didn't work out well.

Still the way he actively pursued the opportunity at short notice impressed me.
