Sickening KO there, definite improvement in Benn there and just because he got the 1st round KO,he did look a lot more composed and less gung ho,brilliant 3 punch combo to end things,i wont get carried away but a step in the right direction for sure
Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale & undercard. Round by Round.
That dude is dreadful and has been stopped early a bunch of times. Hard for me to declare much improvement when his last opponent was so much better.

Radic was woeful but it was clear Conor wasnt gonna be steaming in like last timecrusader wrote:That dude is dreadful and has been stopped early a bunch of times. Hard for me to declare much improvement when his last opponent was so much better.

Cash punches short. Queer looking dude. Feed him to Fournier
Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale & undercard. Round by Round.
these opponents on this bill look like theyve been picked up from the local supermarket. about as entertaining as watching a slug race
Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale & undercard. Round by Round.
I can't really take much from it. Simply being less aggressive is easy when your opponent has nothing and is functioning as a punching bag; staying composed and controlled when they're still there and punching you back is another thing.handsofstone wrote:Radic was woeful but it was clear Conor wasnt gonna be steaming in like last timecrusader wrote:That dude is dreadful and has been stopped early a bunch of times. Apparently it was 1/3 that Benn would stop him in the first.

Fair enough i was hoping to see Benn a lot more relaxed and less gung ho and he was so i was impressed,im not saying Radic was good or even offered anything but attitude wise i thought Conor was a lot better than last 2 fightscrusader wrote:I can't really take much from it. Yes looks like an 80's US actor.... especially with that bouffant. I'd never heard of him, but I'm not sure what the hype is about really.

He's too anxious to impress. Can't see much to rave about, yet.MightyWarrior wrote:Looks good doesn't he, Felix the cat

Good debut for Cash, better than a 1 round blow out

Poor Groves who has to suffer the continued humiliation of Froch's subliminal mind games torture by growing such a magnificent quiff whilst Groves can only reply by growing a woefully inadequate ginger beard.

According to the commentator there are 'plenty of world champions that lost in their first fight'.... Really? There might be a small number (not sure who off the top of my head - who are they?) but 'plenty'?
