Yes Hopkins is the most well known. Pendleton.... Juan Manuel Marquez (DQ). Rafael Marquez. That's 4 so far. out of how many total claimants? Over a thousand? Not really 'plenty' thoigh...Rexob wrote:reggaereggae wrote:According to the commentator there are 'plenty of world champions that lost in their first fight'.... Really? There might be a small number (not sure who off the top of my head - who are they?) but 'plenty'?
Hopkins.

What happened in Carl's last fight... and how many people were there?Neil Gee wrote:Excellenthandsofstone wrote:Can we please keep this thread for its intended purpose fellas?,which is jokes and wonderment at Carl Froch's faboulous but slightly diminished quiff

Is there any... you know whats for this?
Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale & undercard. Round by Round.
The Blackwell fight hasn't affected Eubank. He's really letting them go tonight.

I think after 2 completed rounds, there is very little doubt Jnr would stop GGG with 6 rounds... ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Doran's in it but I give Eubank the second.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale & undercard. Round by Round.
Eubank looks box office, packed ringside - he's a heavy heavy puncher, not a one shot ko artist, but brutal strength
Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale & undercard. Round by Round.
doran did the best he could in that rally,he had to throw back them couple of combos to let the ref know.he tucks up as best as he can so i think some of them look worse than they were. Was that a case of Eubank getting frustrated or taking charge when he wants?dorans doin alright for me
Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale & undercard. Round by Round.
I disagree. He generally lands quite a bit on opponents, yet for the most part still has to stop them later on due to accumlated punishment.MightyWarrior wrote:Eubank looks box office, packed ringside - he's a heavy heavy puncher

Very unattractive showboating from Eubank there over a brave and beaten opponent

Hardly any top British fighters bypass the British title.

Clinical display from Eubank Jr,uppercuts again doing the most damage,he was just a level or 2 above Doran who tried but just didnt have it in him to put a dent in Chris

What we need is Canelo v smith &'GGG v Eubank on a double header, winners meet in spring 17.
And I mean Spring 2017, not 3017
