Fury and Wlad are still #1 and #2 until they are beaten. Personally, if he beats Wlad in the rematch, the fight I want to see most is Fury vs Wilder - I strongly favour Fury in that matchup, although Deontay would have a huge puncher's chance considering his power and Fury's seemingly weak chin.

Ortiz is the one guy I see as a legit threat to AJ and I say that as someone that hasn't always been bowled over by him. I think both Wilder and fury are too fragile to last with Joshua. Ortiz admittedly is untested around the whiskers himself but he's a southpaw, very good counter puncher and can punch.

These top young guys are just trying to wait out Ortiz, sadly. Waiting for him to get old overnight. Dude is like 37 so he's probably really 40 or 41.

I'd say there should be a massive matchup between:

Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua
Wladimir Klitschko
Alexander Povetkin
Joseph Parker
Deontay Wilder
Luiz Ortiz

Also, there should be another massive machup between:
Kubrat Pulev
Gerald Washington
The winner of David Haye/Shannon Briggs
Carlos Takam
Bryant Jennings (if he's still alive)
Jarrel Miller
Andy Ruiz Jr
Jun Long Zhang

I think Parker would be better n the lower one, he's just taken a big step up, so a few fights at that sort of level to help iron out his flaws.

joshua vs parker

wilder kos arolo and than fights the winner of j/p

ortiz just waits for the ultimate, winner of joshua-wilder

that would be a dream scenario, with at the end, a clear cut #1,#2,#3

Wilder is NOT talking Ortiz... Ortiz IS talking Wilder... Wilder is talking Fury, Klitschko, Haye, even Joshua -- but not Ortiz.

Wilder Haye? Didn't know that. Either way, he's clearly after money and avoiding the subtop.

Apart from the winner wouldn't have The Ring belt, or the WBO belt or the WBA belt. But otherwise a clear number 1, 2, 3. And say Joshua bet Parker, then Wilder then Ortiz, how would it be clear who is the best out of Parker, Wilder and Ortiz? You wouldn't.

I would match Joshua vs Parker... Fury vs Klitschko is already scheduled... I would match Wilder vs Ortiz... I would match Haye vs Povetkin

That's a Super-Eight Tournament which makes sense ... Super-Six makes no sense -- and takes forever with the old Middleweight format.

Ortiz is the one Hearn wouldn't even talk to unless he was sure Luis was shot. Dangerous style,
experienced, big puncher and tricky as fornicate. It's hard to even look good against all that much less win impressively. But I bet Joshua would take that fight, he has that desire and fearlessness.

Then still, Wilder Povetkin and Haye Ortiz

It's very easy to arrange, just need ~100M USD

Maybe Riabinski will do it
